Well done and thank you James. I'm sure he will learn 'no wee indoors' routine soon.

The lovely boy has landed with Sue (Huge thanks to Matt for doing a huge transport run today). First thing he got was a much needed shower - he was very whiffy indeed. He's had a very full couple of days, so Sue's letting him have a quiet evening just settling in with her pack, and she'll get some decent pictures of him up tomorrow.

Sorry it's been a couple of days before I've posted. We were all a bit knackered by the time we got home from Honiton (huge thanks to Matt for bringing him that far) and yesterday I had little Tatty in the vets for a hernia repair and to have his hock pinned as it never fully recovered from the dislocation, my 16 year old Zac was also in for a dental so you can imagine that between yo yoing between home and Truro and worrying I was'nt much use to anyone. Both dogs are now home and recovering so DEEP BREATH and CALM !! Little Nipper has been rebranded Quinn, he's not so little as you will see from the pictures, I would suspect a little older than the 10 to 12 months and definitely has a bit of GSD and Collie in with the Saluki. He's a stunning looking fellow and really nice natured, nothing seems to phase him, he's very confident and a bit boisterous and I'm trying hard to keep his feet on the ground as he's just been neutered. Quinn is house clean, sleeps happily through the night in my bedroom and is very happy to snuggle anyone available. He's tolerated being put into his sleep suit with total calm and is fine although a tad bossy with all the other dogs. He came for lunch out yesterday and parked himself on the floor under the table and was no trouble at all, greeted several other dogs perfectly happily. His only fault is wanting to have you close at all times, he's done a houdini out from his crate (still can't work out how he got out) and effortlessly flown over the dog stairgate, not ideal with neutering stitches in! Apart from that he's a delightfull house guest. Pic as promised. Quinn :-

Sounds like a perfect candidate for Agility - whether you want him to be or not! Love the look that Tzari is giving him in that suit.

How on earth are you coping with a foster, 2 poorly dogs and the rest of the pack, you are an angel Sue x Glad little Tatty and Zac are recovering well. This chap looks so lovely and seems to be settling in no problem, it shouldn't be long before he is snapped up. xxx

This chap looks so lovely and seems to be settling in no problem, it shouldn't be long before he is snapped up. Tis a tad chaotic here at the mo Dena. I seem to spend a fair time taking sleep suits on and off so that Quinn and Tatty can go out to be clean Quinn is very good though, slept right through the night and wandered out about 8am. I can cope with that! Little Tatt will be on crate rest, splinted for a month, another month crate rest with the bandages off and then a month of very gentle exercise, poor little lad's really been through it this last year. Old Zac now has clean teeth and breath but is still wearing a slightly offended look. Looking forward to no stitches and no sleep suits. Quinn really is an easy dog for a youngster. He's a lovely cuddly hound and that coat of his is really thick and soft, much nicer now bathed and clean and minus the little visitors! He's a very bright dog so will need a home with a dog savvy person or he'll take charge. He's happy to accept boundaries when firmly put in place and will really enjoy training and pleasing. He will make a gorgeous companion for some one.

Bless you Sue for taking him on when you are nursing your own dog. I love the name and he is beautiful. Sounds as though he could do with big open spaces to run in and, as others have said, agility. I hope he finds a forever sofa soon if he's still with you in May I might get to meet him. The dogs expressions in your photos say it all!
