Seeing Benji most days (until Keith started his training walks) I can only but concur with the previous two posts. He really is one of the sweetest , most affectionate little chaps I have come across in my many years with Lurchers. I don't think it will take him long to settle down and then he will be a fantastic addition to any dog lovers home.

Benji had a very important visitor today. He seemed to win her over, even though he demonstrated his little problem when a strange dog ran right up to him..........
Fingers crossed!

Everything crossed here And here. I do hope that the lady is dog-savvy enough to realize that there is no aggression involved - just over-excitement to get offlead and play, and that manifests itself in a silly snarly fit. Even my Hamish does this sometimes, and you all know how soppy he is.

All crossed for Benji, you have done so much for him Keith and Mollie, taught him so much; he is a different fella to the little one we picked up and brought down to you. As everyone says he is just excitable and wanting to play.

Everything here crossed for Benji In a way I'm glad the potential adopter saw the problem - gives her a chance to see the noise and bluster for exactly what it is.

Despite the challenge this boy has set us, I woke this morning a little sad that he was going. He has been such a focus of attention I suppose, but I will be glad to get back to only two walks per day! Here he is waiting for his new Mum to arrive, after playing ball in the garden And sitting for her just before going. Have a happy life in Somerset Benji! Thank you Chrissie and Ian for taking him on.

This is great news. He is such a lovely boy and he's done so well with you. I totally empathise with the sadness when we have to let our fosters go. It's a bittersweet moment.

The more challenging they are the more time you have had to spend to get them ready for their forever homes. Well done Keith & Molly and be a good boy Benji.

well done Keith and Molly. Benji seems a lovely boy if a little wayward. Lots of love Benji, be very happy and Chrissie and Ian, you have a sweet boy there.

I thought this little boy was great when I met him at Micheldever. So pleased he has found a lovely new home - the look he is giving his new mum says it all. Well done everyone who helped with his rescue, especially Keith and Mollie who went the extra mile (literally) for this lad.
