Part of me is a little sad as i was looking forward to getting him in my grips.... but I am extremely happy that he was very contented with Simon, Helen, Ringo and Joey. Thank you Folks! I am sure he will woo the puddy tats in no time whilst simultainously training his slaves to adore him too. Who could resist? ♡♡♡ Be good Albert and be happy. ☆☆☆

I know how it feels to let them go and how much of a roller coaster it is. Well done to both of you and best wishes for Albert and his new family

Lookin' gooderer.
A couple of texts from Ian: * [20:33 yesterday] Good as gold on the boat and in the car. Greeted by our male cat who made it clear this was his house. Albert a bit unsettled now as expected. * [08:07 this morning] Very good night but an early rise.

Good signs. He is going to be unsettled to start with, Albert attached himself to you Simon but he will be fine I am sure.

Take II
One of the cats wasn't happy at all with Albert. I don't yet know the details, having only just got back from hols, but it was too much of a problem to keep going/trying with. I think Albert was fine with the cat, all be it that the cat 'left the building', so that's not thorough certification of his purrrfect catability. I'm hopefully find out more when I chat with them. Such a shame.
So, for the mo, Alberdooneroonies is with Claire, near Southampton. He's back here with us tomorrow or after the Fun Day.
Another option's out there, but too far-off/unclear for general discourse. In the meantime, Albert's back 'on offer'. What a lovely offer he is too!

Hope it's tomorrow and he can come to the fun day. He is a lovely hound. You're having him with you overnight?! Fab. Thanks. I'll get him right to you. For the record, he's VERY good at night. Sleeps through, in is bed, next to ours. Would adjust to another room I'm sure. Note that our two dogs are IN the bed. He doesn't mind,,, though sneaks on (with 'invite',,, I am OCD in that regard) occasionally. Listen to me... It's as if he's not been away at all. ... Poor Ian & Yvette. No, it's not sleeping/night-time in itself. It's doing it in a tent. Has any dog ever had a peaceful first night in a tent, when there are at least, what, 20 dogs in tents/caravans within 50m? No. Doubt it. All yours Heather.
