Would Albert sleep better in the car do you think? My Kodi loves the tent during the day, but come bedtime he asks to be let into the car and sleeps well in there.

Would Albert sleep better in the car do you think? ... Leave the car unlocked and un-alarmed with all them SLR folks around? I may look crazy! Fair idea, though I think a cozy snuggle with Joey and the occasional without warning just as the humans drift off to sleep... WOOF! WOOF! BLOODY! WOOF!, might be way more incising.

Albert's a tart...he slept in my daughter's bedroom last night, save any arguments if he tried to get in with one of mine, they don't share beds, then this afternoon he came and got in my bed for a siesta. His first night with us went really well. No whining or pacing at all. He is such a sweet boy. This evening we took him to ManorFarm enclosure and had it all to ourselves. Zoomies with Jethro and ball chasing fun has tired him out. An all rounder, handsome, fun, playful, handsome, loyal, intelligent, handsome and did i say handsome?

Albert's not coming this weekend. Too much stress for him and humans. Too little chance of him being there making a difference to his adaptability. We know he's very good with all dogs, so over exposure to a vast multi-pack would have been easy. We now also know he he's good with cats that aren't flighty. I've just now spoken with Ian & Yvette and wanted to play with their cats. The one who stood his ground was fine. The other kept darting around. Oh wow,,, what a great game, thought Ablert! Not. Ian & Yvette did not want to relinquish him. They'd been doing very well with his training and socialisation. Almost sitting straight away when waiting at the kerb to cross the road. Visiting the pub and walking by busy traffic. Coming when called,,, though I didn't quiz what distractions were not around. I would still recommend ear plugs for the campers. Don't underestimate Ringo & Joey... I'll have Albert back on Monday. Thank you Claire to 1. Taking him in and 2. Intending to let him go. Albert shall be at the Happy Cheese walk next weekend, when Jenny, Michael & [part?]pack shall be with us down south.

Albert is fast becoming a star on our walkies. He is doing really well on recall. (Safe enclosed area). He just loves life! I'm glad he will be going back to Simon as I believe it would break my heart to let him go if he stayed to long.

Albert has gone back with Simon today. I can honestly say he is the most sweet natured boy EVER!!! I was dancing around the kitchen with him this morning, he put both paws on my shoulders, gave me a snog and made my day! Love him to bits. Someone is going to get a diamond of a dog ♡♡♡

Oops! Thanks for reminding me to mention he's here with us. Fitted back in well. Very polite/courteous re-introductions. A little to hard-play with Joey, but mostly fine. Joey's taking no chances! Very close to 'play' with Ringo in the garden. Should settle down in a day or two. Claire's very clearly done a wonderful job with him, in that he's not stress/anxious at all. Considering how he's been shipped-around, that's impressive. Show's how well Ian & Yvette did too, as he's almost certainly got no idea he 'failed' to fit it. Cats are just a game,,, right?!

I'm starting to get FPF. You know. Foster Photo Forgetfulness. It's caused by the foster dog not seeming like a foster dog. Just one of the dogs. FPF also has a Foster Promotion Fatigue and the far, far more dangerous, Foster Potential Failure,,, the possible outcome of such is to dark to mention. So,,, as is so popular to start most sentences at the moment, he's the delightful Albert at the SLR walk today. The use of Ringo as a chin rest illustrates nicely how well he's getting with Biggy. They even play outside sometimes. Very strange thing to see, as Ringo doesn't know what play is and is a bloody awful student of playfulness. One reason (of a few!) PFP is unlikely to arise, Foster Potential Failure, obviously, is that Albert's a large dog. Three tired dogs in the back seat on the way got created a few grumbles. Not from Ringo, how such a softy. Joey and Albert where of the opinions that the entire seat was theirs. Ringo was almost perched on the door handle at one point. I find it fascinating, as 1. both dogs are extremely comfortable in very close proximity with other dogs and 2. when we had Charlie here, a similar sized dog, they seemed to fit the space! It's one of the few similarities with humans. Characters. Dogs have then.

I think everybody who meets Albert loves him. He does fit in very well wherever he is too, no waves from Albert either on the walk or at the pub, just a friendly, happy dog but not dull. His little sing-song when he wanted to play during lunch was very endearing! I can understand how easy it would be to become an FF but as this is not on the cards (so far!) he is going to be a real joy for the family who adopt him.

Having been on the other end of his lead for some of today's walk I can say he is a gorgeous dog. He is enthusiastic of life but well behaved. He certainly fancied a romp with Phoebe at the pub!!!

Think Helen us rather smitten with Albert . Your dogs go on the back seat so is there no rear space for Albert? (And Bruce) .

We have no back seats. We laid them down to get 3 greyhounds in the back. The westies sit in the footwell at the front! It's like tetris getting us all in! ;-)

Even when the image is in focus, one can't see more spare space.
