Family with us this weekend. Albert's child proof. Including a toddler at the BBQ yesterday. I've more pics to upload. Here's a couple that were more readily accessible.

Albert's learned to play-fight. Only happened on Saturday, which is the photo and video. Prior to that, it wouldn't take long for him to land a real bite and Joey have to retaliate/retreat. Much play sessions since. Much vocals from Albert. Thanks to Juliet (Aussie cousin) for both the above.

Great progress...can you send Albert round mine to teach Alfie how to play? Joey's the Play Meister. Albert's not graduated to under under study yet.

Mine don't really play, they occassionally run around the garden together. Mostly they take turns to spin around whilst throwing things in the air followed by zoomies. I'm grateful as you could imagine 3 fairly large greys charging around! They're not going to be furthering Albert's play antics when he comes to lodge with us but he will definately learn his place if he oversteps the mark. He is such a gorgeous boy. ♡

Another great pic Simon. Let's hope someone appropriate reads the message on the lad's bandana & responds positively.

From last thing at night ... to [almost] first thing in the morning. Ok, ok,,, so Ringo's not fully reciprocal. But that's his issue, not Albert's. It's taken 7 weeks for Ringo to chill. So very good for him. And for Albert, who's had to learn manners. Not some manners. Manners. Note that Albert still needs a lot of basic training. A trip to the park on the way home yesterday exposed my over confidence. Albert has zero recall when distracted. A local football team's training session was one hell of a distraction. The coach did mention he was looking for new players.... They were very nice about the intrusion. I didn't have the long lead with me, else we could have had a great session. As it was,,,, a tactical retreat to the car and walk at home.

What a day for Albert! End to the last walk? Last power-stretch in a busy day at the office? First time with new family? I'm very optimistic. Albert's one cool, handsome dude. Ian & Yvette seem lovely and very appropriate. He'll be on the ferry as I type. What an adventure! Ian & Yvette have promised to keep us updated. If they don't,,, we'll send Janine around. No, no,, yeah,, right, that would be contravening some military convention. Yes, Albert's gone south, across the water. The only unknown I see is how long he and the cats work things out. Ian & Yvette have had far more challenging rescue dogs than Albert. Looking good!
