Great - what a fab garden! No wonder it took so long to fence!

What a brilliant video, and finally Comet is smiling. He is such a soulful dog in all his piccies. Annette and Neil have done an amazing job with him. I hope to meet you all one day when I venture down to Hampshire again xx

He is a total sweetheart! I am sitting in the kitchen and he has walked both front paws up onto my shoulders for a cuddle.
He is also VERY fast across the ground. He gives Snoop, with his much longer legs, a run for his money. He's also got much much better recall than Snoop
We had some fun and games last night as we put him to bed downstairs with Snoop. He's not used to sleeping without his pets and was making plaintiff barks. I dragged a mattress down to sleep with the boys but did not get that much in the end. Kerry was up and out to the airport at 05:00 this morning. I wasn't really with it until about lunch time today.
We'll see what happens tonight!

Awww, you are getting the Comet cuddles, lovely. He has always insisted on having his daily cuddle. He has slept without humans in the same room, but with other dogs, without problems before, he should be able to do it again soon when he is used to the new routine. I hope it does not take too long. I had never seen him run as hard as he is doing in the video, running with Snoop seems to have changed his prancing pony style with legs flashing everywhere into a smooth and efficient gait with long low strides. I suspected he would find that extra gear one day, a bit of serious competition was obviously all he needed. Fingers crossed for a better tonight.

Oh Annette, your comment had us laughing out loud! He has got a very funny pony-style prance hasn't he. He's a super boy...and even stayed away from the chickens enclosure today too! Lying in bed and after a few half-hearted barks, all seems quiet downstairs. Hopefully, he's settled down and will sleep through the night

Only one barking incident at 01:00 last night, much better! Took him out for a pee. He wanted to play, but I just put him quietly back to bed.
Comet will be on his own with me today as Snoop is off to 'school'. Will be good to see how he is. Hope it is not too boring for him without Snoop.

Just been watching the Christmas edition of "The Dog Rescuers" and the story of various dogs who are abandoned in their homes. It reminded me of Comet's story (left in a house with a chihuahua friend) so I wanted to share this photo of a the little lad almost 1-year later on...enjoying his new Christmas toy won via the SLR auction....with his new friend Snoop. Merry Christmas everyone!
