Great updates Janine, Im so glad she is doing well with you all. I could have cried when you wrote she has such sadness in her eyes, but if anyone can turn her around, you can! I wish you all the very best with her and for her. Give her a big hug from her mate Rory!! xx

Ok so over the few days she has been here what have we learnt she is very timid she travels well ( once you can get here in once shes has been in once she will jump in on the way back) She walks nicely on lead other than trying to walk in the road !!! Curbs seem new to her and she trips off sometinss. She has coped well with traffic very nervous of men she is coming round to ian now slowly. If out walking she will back away. Is starting to give me some eye contact now and will look to me if she is unsure. she likes food and has started to take treats from me she took some hotdog today and cheese x she has her tail out most of the time now. she is very gentle x she will come over for gentle strokes now. she has a great sadness in her eyes but her ears prick up quite a lot now. she happily goes in her crate and likes it in there. she hasnt made a sound bless her. She seems to be enjoying her walks and taking all the new sights in. the laminate floors are a challenge for her when she shakes her legs go everywhere byt is improving She likes the kids she isnt the prettiest of girls bless her but her her temperament more than makes up for it She galf lifted a back leg for a tummy rub last night so that was a huge Break through she has had a wee and a poo out on a walk aswell xx as I type she has just done a full roach in the crate it wasnt long enough to get a piccie but I think its a good sign I didnt think that would hhappened fof weeks if at all so chuffed So I am a happy foster mum tonight xxxx

Who says she's not pretty??? I think she's beautiful. That's a pretty positive list in such a short time Janine. As always with you 10/10 for your foster-mumminess. How are she and Scooby getting along?

I think scooby has the hump he's back here lol I haven't seen him today except for his walk he has been sulking in bed with his foster dad !!!! Not sure she knows what to make of him and is a bit wary of him as she is very non confrontational and scooby is gobby but I'm sure she will get used to him being stoopid !!!

you always give such great updates.... I feel like I know your foster dogs! You're making brilliant progress with her. The difference in such a short time means she must be feeling so much more reassured and less stressed under your care and support. Keep up the good work and it won't be long before she comes out of her shell. Well done!!!!

Brilliant update. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, and I think she is very beautiful.

I think she is graceful Grace. Janine you are an angel, it breaks my heart when I read how sad these dogs are when they come in but they really do respond to love and care so quickly. Its a pity us humans dont let go of "baggage" quite as well.

I too love your updates - so informative and amusing. Now Floppy has gone to his forever sofa there are no more amusing tales of his antics and I miss him. X

I know, I kind of miss his antics and updates he kept us amused for hours like Fran said she is beautiful but not a delicate flookie way she gives little away facially except for the eyes x

Great update. Should be very helpful for someone considering adopting. Shame Ringo's mum has a thing about brindles...

I'll remind Helen of that, but I tend to agree with her that Rory seems a little small for big Ringo. He could run through/over the guy and not notice... The same issue as with Alice. I've also got Courtney to bring to her attention, but again, small and also very young.
