They are like two peas in a pod! Very similar in personality too! Daisy smiled at me yesterday as I came down the stairs and made this really strange noise which sounded like "mum mum mum" it was very funny and I had to till her down and explain that I was only her foster mummy!

This little girl really is a sweety! She is so laid back its unreal. My partner is doing some DIY today and has saws, drills n all sorts making a lot of noise and she's just laying by him and watching what he's doing. She has been playing very nicely with my other foster Suzi dispite being in season at the moment. Her recall in the garden is fantastic and I can't wait to let her off lead once she comes off heat as I suspect she's going to be great. She has been very clean in doors and has only had one accident at my house but she was in the bathroom watching my daughter having a wee at the time so I think she got a bit confused!! She has so far been a model foster for me and will be a lovely addition to any home. She will however need a home with a secure front door latch as she opens my Yale lock with ease if its not double locked.

Daisy's foster sister has now gone to her new home leaving daisy a bit sad. My grumpy terriers just won't play with her despite her best efforts. She is still getting a little stressed when left for periods of time but things are improving. She now goes to her crate on her own when I'm getting ready for work even though she hates it really. I would love her to go to a home where someone is around most of the time and can give her plenty of walks. I am hopping to take her somewhere over the weekend to test her recall as I havnt been able to do this until now as she came to me in season which has now finished. Undates on the recall to follow over the weekend.

Bless her little white muzzle. So glad she had a lovely time, and I hope she doesn't pine too much for her foster sister and those grumpy terrors terriers learn how to play lurcher. for Daisy.

Went for a lovely walk this morning over the common with Colin and Shirley (the grumpy terriers) and my friend with her cross breed bitch. After about half hour of brisk walking I plucked up the courage to let her off lead! I popped a muzzle on just to be on the safe side as their was a few off lead dogs about and on this commen you can't see far ahead because of long grass and bushes. She was absolutely fab and came back to me every time I called her which was rewarded with the occasional treat and much praise. I suspect she has had a lot of training in the past as not only is her recal good but she walks like a dream on the lead too! She's a little wary of small dogs but only if they are particularly yappy and showing aggression towards her. I am now expecting her to sleep for the rest if the day!

Thought I`d let you know that Poppy (well, that`s what she answers to !) is a dream so far, fingers crossed. We went for a walk over the fields (me,Poppy and my JRT Russ) about an hour after she arrived and she didn`t appear nervous at all. I put her muzzle on and she immediately wacked it off, so had to tighten it up. I`ve been rather ashamed of Russ cos, although he was neutered many years ago, he kept botherin` `er (if ya know what I mean)- she obviously rekindled his lust and brought back memories for dear old Russ! Fed her when we got back and she even left some - I kept Russ well away. They played for a while racing in and out of the garden and she has been the sweetest, cuddliest girl this evening - so relaxed. No probs so far - very obedient, walks beautifully on lead and went out for a nice long pee last thing. So far, so good. Jane P.S. Must say a big thank you to Rachel and her partner for helping to set the crate up and giving me lots of advice - and to the other `transporters` for getting Poppy here.
