I have this kind of otter-in-the-wild image in my head, but otters don't have to worry about carpets or tomato sauce pawprints...

Dezzie makes this black lab look rather like a hippo! She did enjoy having some company though!

Tilly and Dezzie are going for a visit today to check that everything is ready at their new abode. All being well, they'll be moving in on 18th December.

The old guy with white hair is New Dad. The old bird with white hair is New Mum, so as you can see, however hard we try, we won't be able to give them any more grey hairs! What FosterMum has omitted to mention was how IMMACULATELY behaved we both were, even when the humans were all eating and didn't offer us so much as a bonio. No peeing in the house, instant recall (without cheese!), and endless patience with all these strangers wanting to cuddle us all the time - aren't these humans a soppy lot...

PS Personally, I don't think Granny Whitehair will ever be much cop at the ball-throwing. Grandad however, definitely has promise, and there's a young chap, red-haired, beardy-wierdy type, who apparently came home SPECIALLY all the way from London, just to see us. Mind you, he then spent most of the afternoon lounging around on the floor talking to Tilly. Typical bloke, just because she's blonde and beautiful. It's not fair.

This has had even an old cynic like me in tears. I'm just THRILLED (having met them together on their 'safe run' when they were still confused and so reliant on each other) that they are going to be homed together. It looks a great place for them, lucky girls and lucky people
- and hey, less of the Granny stuff please!! There's plenty of life in us oldies yet!

Dezzie's last day here today. She's being picked up this morning to go to her forever home. We're going to miss them enormously but they are going to a wonderful place with lovely people.
