Only a youngster, Dezzie was in holding kennels with Tilly and with Bobby. Bobby could possibly be related to Dezzie. She is a lovable friendly girlie. Being fostered in Suffolk with Cath and just oozing with love. Dezzie

This is what we know about Dezzie so far. She went into the secure yard and wandered aimlessly coming back to Mike and I regularly for a fuss and occasionally following Tilly. She is nervy and skinny but wants to interact with humans. She's quite smart. Already beginning to walk nicely on a lead and getting the message that a tight lead means we stop. She likes FOOTBALL!!! (someone tell Baxter!) Ate well but not hysterically like Tilly. She cried when left in the room on her own for a minute. She has some nasty recent scars on her feet and one on her back (see pictures) She is currently asleep and snoring! But she hasn't done a wee yet so we'll be in and out until she does. I think she's going to be fairly easy to rehabilitate and maybe her optimism will lead Tilly forward as well.

Dezzie - (Destiny to give her her full name!) has had a very good night. Mike stayed up till 3am with them (he plays computer games!!!) No accidents in the cage or house (not being given the opportunity.
She is cheerful, waggy tailed and has FINALLY decided to do a wee after 14 hours of not doing so. I think Tilly's marking was making it difficult for her to work out where to do it without causing issues.
The crate door is open and she has decided to crawl under the computer table and go to sleep near my feet.
Very puppy-ish! Given any opportunity to jump all over anyone, she'll do it.
Mentally, this little on is going to be fine. Physically she's bashed up and needs some antibiotic cream or a jab for some of these nasty cuts.
Cats? What cat? Hasn't noticed my cats impressive "I'm a porcupine" impressions yet so I can't comment and I'm not into inciting a potential riot at this stage!

She looks lovely and just a little bit cheeky in her photos. Is it just me, or can anyone else see Blue Merle in her markings......?

Small update - Dezzie likes to play with a tennis ball, she'll retrieve it and bring it back, dropping it at your feet in order for you to throw it again. Someone's done this with her before...

Dezzie went to see Uncle Walter today. 15.45kg - needs another 1kg on her. She is NOT a puppy. Walter reckons between 2 and 4. So - the puppy mouthing is no longer being indulged!!!! She is very playful though, like to play ball. Neither she nor Tilly are over confident without clear physical boundaries. She had a chew today which went down well, although they do use up valuable tummy space for more nutritious food, so we're limiting them. Oh - and she's discovered the sofa...

She sounds lovely and the way you describe her and some behaviour sounds just like Bobby. Plus almost identical weights, Bobby's about 15.5 kg. He's confirmed at around a year old though- wonder how they're connected, if at all? Looking forward to hearing more about her.

Dezzie is full of the joys of spring this morning. Bouncy, Bouncy, BOUNCY!!!!!!! She nearly flattened her first official "stranger" today. Ollie is 16 and used to dogs so when she became over-exuberant, he stopped her mouthing and made sure all 4 feet were on the floor before there were fusses.
