Ripley went to his new home in Wales on Saturday. His lovely family changed their plans and were able to pick him up at the weekend. I couldn't see Ripley and them wait another week so Michael facilitated the hand-over. Unfortunately Michael couldn't find any batteries for the spare camera so no photos at the moment. I have rung Claire and he has settled in well and loves their Ridgeback Lola. He has been off-lead for some lovely walks and runs with Lola, and is being a very good boy. Even sleeping downstairs. ;D I'll put some photos up when they arrive. We're missing the big Lummox, and especially his big buddy Ronnie. Be happy BIG little man. I love you loads.

I rang Claire today, and Ripper has been having some lovely fun off lead. AND....... He is keeping his name. ;D So, the dog that got accidentally named Ripley, shortened to Ripper for obvious paper reasons keeps it. I am so happy. ;D

So pleased to read of Ripley's happy landing in his forever home. Hope he has many happy years of mayhem in the Valleys!
We only met him overnight, but he made a big impression even then! Lots of love, K+M

I had a lovely update and some piccies from Claire last night. Little Big man looks like he is "at home". ................................................................ Ripley is settling in really well bless him! Him and Lola are now best pals and I’ve never seen Lola so playful, she is even initiating the playing which is lovely to see! He is doing tremendously well off lead, comes back really well and runs around after Lola. He looks astonished every time we see a horse at close range which is very amusing! He has met some of Sarah and Emmas friends who all think he is adorable and all the adult visitors can’t believe his size as I’ve told them he’s only 6 months! He is having a wonderful time in the garden and he & Lola are having great races up & down at full stride! We are getting used to being careful with unguarded food again, it reminds us of Lolas puppy days! He really is an adorable addition to our family, we feel so lucky to have him. He is great at cuddles which we all love and just seems to be making himself at home. I realise it is early days for him but he has done so well in his first week I can only see him becoming more and more at home here. He doesn’t even seem to mind the little bit of rain we’ve had, which is just as well living in Wales! ................................................................................... Lovely piccies Claire. Thank you. xx
