He's one of those pups that shows off at dog training, recall, retrieve the lot, and then when he gets home chooses to ignore it all. But he should be doing all this with his new family. Someone has missed out on a lot of love and fun with Ripley.

I can vouch for that. I see this little chap most days walking with Jenny and he also visited here yesterday. He was a perfect house guest - even went upstairs and re-arranged a few bits and pieces up there (No damage done at all)

He is smashing even with cow poo! ;D Why has he not gone to his forever home yet? Someone is missing out on his puppyhood. The thread says he's only 14 weeks old still, Just imagine if he was this big at 14 weeks! ! He'd grow as big as the Big Red Dog on the childrens programmes (can't remember its name) and I wouldn't want to pick up his poops!

Like all the SLR dogslets Christina, he isn't going until the home is just right. His needs are - Plenty of off-lead play with another young dog, around 4 and under. Someone around most of the time. Someone who will allow him on the sofa as he is a real sofa dog Someone with older children that won't pull him around as he is a big boy and might knock them flying in his exhuberance. Someone who understands lurcher play as he loves to raaraar, but he is lovely with it Someone who likes going out for walks, not just round the block and back. Someone who doesn't mind dodging when he comes charging at you with a 4 foot stick in his mouth Someone who has an endless supply of washing up brushes Someone who has another lurcher who doesn't mind snuggling up, as he likes to snuggle. He has taught all of ours snuggling. Someone who likes big soft Lurchers, because Ripley is over 24" at the shoulder now and still growing fast. He is cat, child, rabbit, bird and cow friendly. Isn't a hunter, and loves to be chased by other dogs. He is a countersurfer, but not a jumper as he is such a heavy boy. He can't be bothered with jumping. He is a lovable lumux of a pup and keeps getting overlooked. Perhaps people don't want a pup with superb recall, superb temperament and easy on the lead. And excellent with any dogs he meets.
