Can you beleive I have to work in that office with that lot!! Kezzie is making the most of being 'ill' - she isn't tip top due to being spayed yesterday but I have a feeling her illness could last a looooonnng time!!

Big Jake news - he has visitors coming from Northants tomorrow!! Oh no.... I feel the heart beginning to feel a little tug !! Adam and his family are travelling down and we're going to do a walk and see how it all goes. They are an active family and Jake will certainly love that so my poor Basil has tail, toes and everything crossed because he is quite clearly sick of being sat on by the big visitor! Stay tuned x

I can hardly believe it but he's gone. We REALLY miss him tonight. Such a lovely dog with a big personality but I have to say he has gone to a fabulous home with a lovely family who I know are going to love him and have masses of fun with him. Adam and Michelle came today with two of their three children Sky and Bo and took Jake off for a walk and came back with 100% agreement that he was perfect for them. Tonight Adam has emailed to say Jake has eaten his tea and is currently curled up on his new bed. In their words he's just a happy dog that wants to know someone is there for him. Happy ending for a super dog. Thanks Jenny and SLR!

Jakes has had a good first night with only 10 minutes whinging and then settled for the night. No accidents. However he got back from a walk this morning and did have an oopsy on the floor. Tut tut Jake. A lovely photo came through this morning.

The first hour that Jake arrived with Sara she emailed me "Jenny, I'm not sure I can do this one, he's huge and my house is little, and he's jumping around" That evening she emailed me, "I think I panicked. He's fine, although very big, but if you can get him re homed quickly Kez would be happier" The next day, "Panic over, they're fine". A couple of days later, "God, he's lovely" She won't mind me putting this, but it is a scary business taking on the unknown, and Sara passed with flying colours, with a little support
