Oh god Keith, now you've got me going! I love that photo of me and Woody Thanks so much Keith and Brenda for looking after him, and helping him gain so much confidence Seeing those photos makes me so happy. After all Woody has been through, he deserves the best home possible, and now he has that. He brought a smile to all our faces, and was the most loving, trusting dog, with the best nature in the world. If circumstances had been different, I would have kept him, but it's so wonderful that he has the best possible home now. He's left a big hole here, and we all miss him, but we know he's going to be so happy and have an amazing life. Love you Woody, I hope I can see you again someday I'll put some pictures up when Photobucket decides it wants to work

Thank you so much to Rowan and family for all of the extemely hard work and effort you have put in with Woody. I have followed his thread continuously and been brought to tears many times reading it but am so pleased with how his life has now turned around and he has got his forever home - good luck to his new owners as you sure do have the best dog I have sent to SLR ever. Many of the dogs on this site come from me and I follow up on all of them but none of them have caused me as much heart-ache as Woody. Everyone at SLR are marvellous, how you get so many wonderful foster homes is beyond me and you all do an extremely fantastic job between you. A big thanks to all involved.
very kind regards DEE - holding kennels in Essex

Hello All.
Diane (Dee) here, I am Woody's new Mum (Well I will be on Thursday) we are SO looking forward to welcoming him into our family.
We currently have 3 cats, (Benny you have seen in the pics with Woody) and Amber, a 3 yr old Great Dane. She had such a good reaction to him that I am very hopeful that they will soon be snuggling up together as best friends.
I will post photo's once he has settled and will of course keep you up to date with his progress and hopefully when he is good and used to us all I will join you on once of your walks.
Good to 'meet' you all and thank you to everyone who has helped get Woody to the point where he is ready to join our family.
D xx

Hopefully it won't take too long for lovely Woody to come out of his shell. Can't believe he is actually going home.
