This is one fabulous little dog! ;D For a 9 month old puppy he is so together it isn't true. He is calm and respectful to other dogs, yet knows how to play and have fun too. He walks beautifully on a lead, travels well in a car, shares food with other dogs, loves people, kids, cats. Doesn't seem to have a single fault. (apart from rancid flatulence!) If my next dog has Ben's personality and social graces I will be more than happy. He's perfect. ;D

Well, we had the pleasure of meeting little Ben as Romi travelled with him from Kate's to be collected by Christina and the meeting was arranged to take place in our garden and ........ he is a real little cracker! Absolutely adorable, a very friendly little boy who loved all the attention and fuss he could get: (more to come..........)

He was playing nicely with the other dogs and responded quite well to recall when asked to come back - well, that certainly made a change! He explored the garden and a bit later wandered off, heading towards the kitchen to see if there was something nice to eat and, yes, he does counter-surf quite well as he was just caught in the act! (more to come........)

After being caught out in the kitchen while counter-surfing, little Ben soon decided to settle down under a shady bush and to follow Nicole's example who had a nice little rest: (more to come.......)

Although he was only here for the afternoon, I noticed his friendliness and how easy going little Ben is and definitely without any baggage at all. Here he is getting ready to follow his fostermum Christina back to the car: I could imagine little Ben making a lovely pet for a family with children. He is a happy little boy and loves to smile and I look forward to hearing what Christina has got to say about this little darling of a dog. Viviane. X

I am just uploading some pics but computer is being a bit slow so will post them shortly. He is SO good considering what he must have been through. He traveled well, quiet untill the very end when he made a pitiful cry I think he must have been so exhausted of all the travelling. The girls welcomed him as always, only Mia had a bit of a paddy when she realised he was getting in HER car and then coming to HER house! But shes seems fine now. Not noticed the farts yet but hes done 3 poos already! He's had 2 meals here and he's laying asleep next to me now . He loves everyone, we met a little JR when we took a evening walk, he was so polite and gentle. One of the Pic's shows our cat eating next to him. When I called him tonight he came over tail wagging so much already and those eyes are so loving. Get those applications in quick , he's not going to be looking for a home for long. ;D

Ben had a bath last night with a special shampoo for silky coats and now smells of almond, not sure how long for though!! We had a good night it took a little time for Ben to settle as expected but eventually he went to sleep, waking me up by pacing about at three to go outside and again at six but this time it was for food. He was ravenous so after a feed and toilet he settled again straight away. He does have a bad case of DIRE-REAR which seems even worse this morning but I'm sure it will settle soon otherwise what goes in will be out before it does him any good. He dosent really ask to go out yet and we do have the odd accident but I am sure he will be easy to train. He is sticking to my side wanting to make sure I am in sight, we had lots of cuddles :-*and even had a good roach (him not me) which was lovely to see. We went for a walk this morning, but no photos as I wasn't sure how he would be and with four dogs + their leads, a long training lead and a tennis ball I just don't have enough hands. He was very good, no pulling on the lead and I even let him off in a safe field for a run. He didn't wander far and came back easily enough when he'd had a good sniff around. He greets other dogs/owners with lots of tail wagging but no jumping up-so far which is great. One lady was very taken, so hopefully she will be looking in and showing her husband, who loves Lurchers! They are all fed and asleep Bless.
