What a smashing little boy. I am so jealous Del has said no to fostering or I would have had this lad like a shot, with a view to failing.(Trouble is Del sussed me ) I am so happy for him to have found such a wonderful home with you, even if it may be only temporary. He does look very comfy.

He looks far too comfortable and spoilt. Crack the whip man. He'll grow up like all Lurchers, a wuss. (I do realise all and sundry will now bring the roth of "oh no they're not" on me ) Go ahead punks, make my day. It's gonna be hard to let that one go. And like most fosters, they find that once the foster dog has been insitu for a while, they just blend in and then it is soooo natural for them to stay. Just let me know which option you are taking A. He is up for adoption B. He has blended in. It is option A. He is up for adoption..... especially if you could see him and Chas at this moment as I write, they are charging around the house like a pair of hooligans

He really is gorgeous. You've shown him such love and kindness and he's blossoming now...that photo of him snuggled on your knee almost made me cry. Bless him.

Just a quick update on little Paddy. His personality has really started to come out now and he is incredibly cheeky and good-natured. He has had his second jab and weighed in at around 14 kilos, not bad for a malnourished, unloved pup. His coat has improved immensely and he has a very handsome face and very expressive eyes. His feet are improving all the time and he is now running around happily, he’s not sounding quite so flat-footed now, and his legs are much straighter. Must be all the standing proud (when he’s not asleep on the sofa!) He has become quite adventurous (see the following pictures) and is incredibly agile, (he’s jumping around with Chas as I type). He is very friendly and has enjoyed meeting lots of new people, both children and adults, and he seems to take everything in his stride. His toilet training is almost there - just the occasional accident - and he sleeps through the night, happily settled on the landing or on a sofa. We have left him in the crate a few times now and he is okay up to an hour and a half when we have been out. We think he would like another dog as company as he spends most of his time playing with Chas or snuggled up with him on the sofa. Here are some more pictures...

You and me both, Sally. His legs are looking better already, much straighter. Lets hope he fully recovers - he's adorable. ;D How tall is he now?

Hi All, Just a brief update on Paddy.... Well he is still as cheeky as ever But in all honesty he is making great progress, his legs and feet are looking so much better now (see pictures below). Food is still his world but he is gradually getting slower as he eats, but would still eat Patch's & Chas's if we don't crate him! He loves to play, and has now even started copying Chas so my lawn is now full of holes He is a very loving dog and will make someone a great pet, he loves nothing more than fuss & cuddles and doesn't care who he gets them from. Come on people give this dog his forever home

He looks as if he is making such good progress with you and I am sure he is a smashing happy little hound. All he need now is his own sofa.

He is such a beautiful boy and his markings are fabulous! I don't think anyone will be looking at his legs once they have looked into his eyes.
