Any more news on the lovely Ellie? The pictures of her and Fionn are just great. How can you bear to think about parting with her Rowan? They look like a perfect pair of bookends!
Romi, as I have said before, I can take Nero off your hands then you can have Ellie......... Dream on!

Ellie is doing well but unfortunately has picked up Pippin's infection, but she doesn't seem to be too bothered by it. She's being homechecked for but that's all I'll say... She's a such a lovely doglet, and she makes such a great pair with Fionn. But unfortunately we're not allowed to have 3 dogs My Dad would move out otherwise! She may be attending the Guildford walk if we can make it, so Ellie fans can get their autographs then!

Nice offer Sally. I couldn't part with Nero, but you could take Del (OH) off my hands - then I could have as many dogs as I like! (Only joking hun - love you really!)

It was lovely to meet Ellie on the Guildford walk - she is a beauty. Has her new sofa been secured yet?

If all is well she should be going to her wonderful new home this sunday, as a real lady of the manor with a male deerhound friend about 5 minutes from us- we're really thrilled she'll be so close so we'll get to catch up.

Spoke to Ellie's new mum this morning and everything is going even better than they had hoped for. They had a great day in the garden yesterday and Ellie has had some lovely play with Alfie. This extract from her follow-up email. I have a lot of piccies to put on the forum for her "She has settled in amazingly well so far. She and Alfie are playing really well, they sleep on each others' beds, and the settees and she is eating very well. She has lots of energy, she and Alfie chase each other round the garden. She is very affectionate to us and all round is charming. She has been for walks every day, and has met local dogs and has been fine with them." A job well done again Rowan and Hannah and not forgetting Helen I just have to get some paperwork done and then will add the photos.
