She did meet a couple of horses with me she was fine if anything alittle nervous, but she did grow up with alpaca's, I think she thought you could play with them, but they don't wear metal horseshoes or have people on their backs. cheers. scotty

She's doing really well Jill, and she's eating fine now. She likes to have her Burns covered in chicken stock She's an angel in the house, you don't even know you've got her. Outside she loves having a run with Fionn and because they're the same size they play well together. But when she does try to play with smaller dogs, I don't think she realises how big she is, and can be quite rough with them, which a lot of dogs don't like. We think Ellie would do best in a home with at least one dog her size, and other confident dogs. She would probably flourish best where she can be exercised with her doggy companions without meeting too many strange dogs, as she is quite nervous outside. She likes to just mooch and do her own thing really. Twins?

What a beautiful pair !! Can't believe how much like Tilly she is !! Ellie has a leaner face than Fionn doesn't she? He's simply gorgeous !!! Do hope she finds just the right forever home very soon !!

My family and I would love to give Ellie a forever home and its a shame that you feel that my kids are to young but I do understand. I do know that deerhounds love kids and are very gentle dogs and I have had experience in handling a dog who was scared of everything and needed reassurance. Shame I would of loved to of have her but I do really hope you can find the right forever home for her as thats the most important thing and thank you for your time.

We have to stick to the criteria for Ellie to get it right. Also, she loves having another deerhound x around her, and we feel that that is what we are looking for. Thanks for ringing today and talking to me Maria.

Wish Del would give in to us having more dogs. We fit the criteria perfectly. Big hairy easy-going woofers, no cats, no kids. Pooo!

Can't you persuade him Romi...? Say you'll tickle his back every night for a year. Or something.

Oh Ellie you are so pretty I love the piccies of her with Fionn, they make a very handsome pair, and by the looks of it you are working your fantastic foster magic with her Can't wait to meet you on the next walk, I know Mr Twist is looking forward to it. Romi, the trouble with leaving the laptop open with her piccie on the display he will only think it is either Tyler or Angus ;D ;D

We have had upwards of 15 applications, but not meeting the criteria for Ellie. We have to get it right for her.

I really hope the perfect people turn up soon for her. She looks so beautiful and I'm sure she deserves her forever sofa. And then I can stop poking Del with a sharp stick! Ro. x
