Hi everyone. I'm Jenny Wren.
I am the one that came out last and had to be revived. Foster granny Jenny had to put my whole head in her mouth and blow gentle to get my lungs working. I came out of my mummy without a sack and just lots of gunge around me. Yuk.
Foster Granny says that's why I always have a grey tinge down my tail and my back legs, because I was so gunked.
Despite coming out last I am not small. I weighed in at 2.53 kilos last week. They call me Jenny Wren after foster Granny at the mo. I am going to have very light brown/yellow eyes and my coat is going to be quite smooth. I have a coat colour change coming, an I am getting darker, almost fawn. I look a lot like Gracie.
I like to explore, to play with balls and pulls things out of holes.
I also like to disconnect the puppycam when foster granny isn't looking.
Foster Granny says that I was so worth saving as I am such a lovely little girlie who gives such nice cuddles, and licks.
I like licking.
You know by now that foster granny is a very strict lady, and she only wants the best for us. I know I won't go to college like human kids do, but that doesn't mean that I don't want to enjoy my life and have some daily challenges and fun.
I nearly wasn't here twice, once when mum got knocked over by a car and then when I had given up trying to breath at birth, so I don't want to waste my life. I love all the big dogs here, but I love the humans too, so I guess I could be happy with or without another dog to share my life with, for now anyway.... Granny foster says that Lurchers need a friend at some point.
I guess I too am going to be very lonely when I leave my brother and sisters, but I know a lovely mummy and daddy and family are out there somewhere. You have to have high fencing, and promise to take good care of me. Never leave me alone in the garden while you go out, or in a car and foster granny will get her lovely team to carry out loads of checks, and if they need to they will even talk to your neighbours.
I know I am gonna get a lovely home, cos otherwise I will stay til it comes up. No hurry, I am not yet 6 weeks old.
Foster granny needs to load up some more piccies of me as I sleep a lot.
I'm on the right in this one
And yep, asleep on the right in this one. Well a pups has to grow you know.
And on the right in this one.
And standing in the middle of the mayhem in this one
And have you seen the loveliest mum in the world. I think so...cos I love her so much.
