Hi everybody. It's me Dodger here. Marley to you. Well, I can't tell you how hen-pecked and other pecked I am starting to feel this last week. They go on about pink jumpers, girlie collars and leads, designer this and designer that. I just want to chump on a teddy bear leg or Elly's leg and have some rough and tumble fun. But I think I am becoming domesticated. They've got me calm and I love their cuddles and licks. Hmmm. Elly licks some strange places, but I know she just misses mum. Mum has started to make us stand on our own four paws, but it is hard seeing her opposite on the sofa watching us.
Granny Jenny says that we are big little poopies now and we are ready to go out into the big wide world.
She said that she picked my mum specially and that my mum has been waiting for an SLR doglet since last year. Wow! A mum who has been waiting for me. I hope she is nice and that she loves me to bits. Granny Jenny says that I have a Roman nose. That is supposed to be very lovely. I don't know about that, I just have my nose. I have big brown eyes and Granny Jenny says that they just melt her to look at.
She had to rescue me twice today as the girls just can't leave my body parts alone.
Granny Jenny says that my mum has promised to take me to the beach, and to let me have lots of friends to play with. I need to find out so much about the big world. I have watched it on the T.V. but that's not the same as breathing and smelling it and running like the wind.
I have to wait to run like the wind as I need a vaccination and then another one when I am 10 weeks old. That is forever away. But Granny Jenny says that there are so many nasty bugs out there that could kill a little Dodger, that it is not worth the risk.
I am traveling to my new home on Saturday or Sunday. I will miss my mum. I love my mum and am so grateful to her for having me. I hope someone makes my mum happy soon.
Well, not long now and I hope to update you all on my adventures as I grow up.
Here I am, the one in the front with the "nose"
And with my Mollie. She is lovely. She gives lovely cuddles.
Now now girls, form an orderly queue. And no kissing.
