How do I apply for an application form for Tinks please? If you PM Mimsmum (who is Jenny) or email her jenny@southernlurcherrescue.org.uk and tell her that you are interested and bit about yourself she will send you an application form. Good luck

Tinkerbell spent the Christmas holidays with Aunty Joy, Sam and Bonnie ..... but she is now back with The Hunter clan in Romsey and fitted straight back in as if she had never left Whilst picking her up from Joy enjoyed a lovely walk on Hayling Island Beach with lots of other SLR Hounds and their owners ... here are some lovely pics i took of Tink .... She is an absolute sweetheart .... wonderful with my kids when she came home, no jumping at all - and she has just spent the last half an hour grooming the cats ;D Now in typical lurcher style she is roaching on my sofa Kate xxx

More progress made by the lovely Tinkerbell...
When she first arrived she was a bit unsure when dogs bounded up to her .... she yelped and hid behind me until she was sure it was safe to come out ..... now 4 weeks later she lays on her back and welcomes all to come and say hello.... she has no issues with dogs large or small.
Also, i used to crate her at night and when i went out - well, no more crate needed in this house. She now sleeps in my playroom with Indy and Dodge and also goes in there when i go out for a couple of hours - no chewing, no problems at all.
She does need a good run in the mornings to drain off some energy but other than that she is a very happy lazy girlie - who absolutely adores killing teddy bears ;D ;D
She would benefit from having another dog around as she does adore company ..... but saying that she would be very happy having a human at home for company as well (someone who is around most of the time), as long as she gets all the attention she needs.
More soon....
Kate xx
P.S. Her ONE AND ONLY bad point (and yes there is only one) is that when she has a raw hide chew its her's and her's only .... i can take it from her easily, but she does warn my other two dogs to leave it alone... dont blame her really xxxx

She's just so beautiful - if only I was closer I'd love to welcome her into our family (Subject of course to home check etc., etc. etc.)

Glad she is settled again Kate - she was no trouble and fitted in with my two easily. I think she does like company human and canine. She slept in her bed every night she was here and I thought for an 8 month old puppy she was lovley. Loved my grand daughters aged 7 and 9 and got on well with Lottie next door and the lab over the road. Just an easy little girl, and ofcourse a beautiful one. P.S. Bonnie and Sam found it a bit strange without her at first.

tinks is one of those very few lurchers who has no baggage to take with them .... she is settled, happy, lovable, loyal, dog friendly, cat friendly, chicken friendly, horse friendly.... the list is endless ....
she loves children, she loves toys, she loves human company ... she is an absolute poppet .... i wuff her to bits xxx
She is so easy going that she would suit many households - she would be fine with kids, fine with dogs, fine with cats, but also fine with just a human to love her to bits ......
It is going to be so hard to let her go .... but i know the right people are just waiting round the corner ....
Kx

Tinks has developed a new trick over the last few days - to get my attention she brings over a toy and whacks it against my legs until i play with her - she is hysterical ...... If she jumps up on the sofa she puts her paws against me to ask for a cuddle .... its soooooo sweet .... Her favourite place is sat against me whilst i type away on the laptop .... as long as i am there she is happy The longer she is here the harder it will be to let her go, so please think about giving a gorgeous black shiney girlie a permanent home to save me getting a divorce !!!!!!!! he he he Kate xxx
