I have been AWOL for a few days and have just caught up with the thread. What a shame it was not to be... she is such a lovely doggie and will do any family proud. Well done for seeing her through her op Kate - not a fun time for any lady. Does this mean Christmas at Gilly's? Please send her a Rosie shaped from us. Sally x

I will take some more pics of Tinks tomorrow on our walk to post on the thread ..... but just to reiterate - she is only 8 months old, but is actually very well behaved - she is a tad nervous of new people and situations but doesnt growl or snap, just backs off and waits for the right time ..... she is growing with confidence every day - my dog is teaching her the ropes xxx
She has never jumped up at my children, she has treated my cats with the upmost respect and only plays with the toys that are hers ..... she doesnt steal, she doesnt counter surf, she doesnt over play .....
Would be lovely to see her with another playful dog as she absolutely loves to play ..... but she doesnt disrespect their space which is wonderful.
Please consider Tinks for your life long friend - she is an absolute angel .......
Kx

Hi! Keep reading bout Tinks - she's just beautiful. Please consider letting her have her forever goose down duvet with me, my hubby and geriatric cats? Lost my 1st fur baby last year at 17 years, lost my 2nd fur baby a month ago at only 17 months. Please give us a chance to give a lovely girl heaps of love, care, cuddles and fun with us? Please? Would love to have her in our loving home for Christmas. Yours hopefully Becks

Both fur babies were lurchers - so not a novice! Have acres of heath land, woods and coastline within walking distance, and am a gardener - so have always taken my hounds to work with me (14acres of landscaped gardens ((courtesy of Mr Griff. R. Jones!)), unless Daddy has his 4 days off, then we spent it with him - roaching, snooring, cuddling...... Granny and Grandpops are always suckers for grandpuppy sitting too! Please consider our home? Still hopefully Becks

Tinks is going for another check up today at the vets to double check her stitches are healing nicely .... they look clean so should be fine.
We are getting to know her more and more every day and she would definately benefit from a younger dog to play with (she wouldnt care what breed) - she runs round my lounge with her tug toy and Indy on the other end .... a quiet dog would not suit her puppy nature ...... She is very fast on a walk, so would bond better with a dog that can keep up with her ....
She has just about got over her Separation Anxiety but would need owners to be at home most of the time (people who work part time every day would not be suitable i am afraid) ..... i would hate for it to come back as she has done so well.
She has still caused no problems with the cats at all - she actually play bows to them and asks them to play - as you can imagine she usually gets a swipe round the nose !!
Keep forgetting to download the pics - so will try later .....
Kx

Thanks for the update Kate. We have had quite a few applications for Tinks, but for her sake we have to get it right, even if it takes a while. Second best is not what we want for the Rescue dogs, we want the best, and I am sure that any prospective adopter would understand that. These dogs are the lucky ones, we can make sure that their destiny is as happy as can be. And spoilt?, you bet your sweet bippy, they deserve it.

Thanks to Kate's close observations, Jenny, we are quite confident you will get it right in finding that perfect forever home for this playful little girlie. We already know how loving she is she wants a happy little brother/sister to play with and somebody around for most of the time to spoil her. And that is all our little Tinks is asking for........... Oh my, how could anybody resist her..........? Viviane. X
