Reserved...... ;D ;D Well what can I say my friends............................. WE FAILED!!!! We feel so embarrassed for failing on our first foster, but when SLR send you a lad like this one then I think we were set up to fail ;D ;D SLR is becoming a large part of our lives and we are going to continue to do everything we can to support SLR and the great team who run it. We have been thinking about adopting Scruff for the last week and the main delay was our battle to accept we could probably not foster again , five in a house and the little one said no more Mummy, no more Mummy ;D Scruff has settled so well, Ollie is so happy to have a cuddle buddy, Roxy plays toys with him from the moment they wake to they go to bed and Sammy is playing chase with him off lead (which is a big thing as Sammy really doesn't like other dogs). Every single day that passed made us realise that to pass him on to another family would be like sending Ollie, Sammy or one of the girls away and then the decision was made. As for his name, sorry but we will be changing it. Jim has named him Bodhi as from this evening, and he's responding to it well already Thanks to everyone who gave us support and advise as a foster family. Love, Gilly and Jim (now with a very complete family) x x

Well, what a special reunion celebratory walk Sunday will be!! I know someone who had their eye on Scruff too. I hope they wont be down hearted to know he's been snapped up, better that he has a home than not...sure they'll be another one along for them soon...my money is on Slim. Hugs and scritches to all ;D

Well done, well done, well done!!! ;D You remember our "Christmas Walk at Kingley Vale," Gilly? We were laughing and joking and getting quite excited about Scruffy (a.k.a. Woody then) ;D Now, looking back, I think your lovely boy Bodhi knew already at the time he had found his forever home already............... ;D Viviane. X

We are so lucky We new when Bodhi came to us that he was going to be a special boy and fit in well with our pack but after today we are just so happy and proud. We met up with the Greyhounds In Need walk today at the New Forest, there was lot's of dogs, different breeds, some dogs he new and some he didn't. We let him off the lead once we new we were away from the road and Bodhi walked, played, was chased ;D and came back perfect every time. He is so happy you can really see it in his face and confidence. We are so glad to have had the chance to foster Bodhi and then to see what an amazing dog he is and adopt him. Love you Bodhi Boy. x x

Bodhi here, thought I would give you an update on my life here with my Mummy, Daddy and the hounds. I came here quite shy, not really understanding things like toys, sharing bones (still have problems with this one ), long walks and lots of hugs 5 months on and I am settle, I have a best friend called Ollie and we go everywhere together. Mummy knows that I don;t like to be separated from my friend so she lets us stay together for all walks, and even vets appointments Mummy has taken in an oldie Greyhound called Darcy, she has had a hard life of racing and has given birth to 18 puppies, she is 9 years old and I love her to bits. When Ollie gets to rough when play fighting she comes out in to the garden and barks at him to calm him down ;D I love living here and I know that my family love me to bits, thank you for taking me in SLR, without you I would of never found my forever family Love Bodhi x
