Sadly, the lovely couple who wanted to adopt them have just had a bombshell dropped on them. The hubbie has been told that he is on a redundancy list for January. They can't commit to the two dogs with such an unsure future themselves. We are devastated for them as they are such a lovely couple and have so much love to offer a rescue dog. Fingers crossed for you Peter. So... Daisy and Dave are still looking.

OMG - what devastating news, for the couple and their dogs..... Exactly the same happened to David at exactly the same time last year, so we know how you are feeling ......... We had to tighten our belts to a modest life style, but we still have each other and our precious little Elmer, and that is what matters most, so please don't let it spoil your Christmas, as sad as it is. Thinking of you. Viviane. X

I've just phoned Nick and the dogs are doing well. They spent the night in the bedroom with Nick and Dawn, but hopefully once they settle in they will move a little bit towards the landing Whatever Daisy does Dave follows, so the two walks today were so easy. All good. Jo, their mum who had to part with them, has taken two photos for us. It was very difficult for Jo, and my heart goes out to her as she would dearly have loved a different ending. Lovely photos of Dave to the fore and Daisy on the sofa with new mum and dad Nick and Dawn. All our thoughts are with you Jo. I know that this had been so hard on you and that you loved them with every fibre of your body. You did the right thing by Dave and Daisy. God bless. xx
