We could take her but I think we're out too much really. Our fence is also not great in one place either (though it would be a good excuse to get it fixed) If it's really urgent we might be a possibility.
I could get my mum to come over (she lives 25 mins walk up the road) and get my sister to help out (She walks passed my house on the way home from work)

It would be very helpful if you could possibly arrange to meet the lass for an initial assessment & report back to Jenny Rebecca, so that potential fosterers have some idea of what they would be committing themselves to.

Cat friendly, kid friendly Apparently both!
Helen has offered to foster the lass, at least until she discovers whether or not Tarka will accept her on her territory!

The lass will be coming into SLR's care tomorrow, when Rebecca will pick her up for onward transmission to Helen, who has offered to foster her as long as Tarka doesn't object. If there are any problems in that direction, Kate will be waiting in the wings to take over as Foster Mum.
Thank you ladies - you're all Superstars!!

I hope it all works out OK with Helen but, if this girlie does have to go down to Kate, I can help with transport.

Met this little girlie this morning and she is just lovely, very pretty and gentle, exactly my sort of lurcher and if you like them brindle and a bit rough round the edges then perfect.
Sort of glad i'm on a two dog limit as i would be really tempted.eek!!

Sorry I only just caught up with this thread. My fencing isn't six foot high. Only five foot. Let me know if an emergency arises. Pagan was tall but never jumped...and my current munchkins just stay in the garden. Not keen jumpers for some reason.

Hi Kate,
We are going to see the young lady tomorrow and hope to become 'temporary foster parents' to see if she takes to us and Sid the cat. I might well need your help!!! Hope it is okay if I contact you if we do bring her home. Can't wait to see her!! It was you and Indy that got me onto brindles.....!

A couple of piccies Rebecca has sent. She is like my Megan. Much prettier in the flesh these brindle semi rough coat girlies. Night night all. Good luck for tomorrow. xx
