Congratulations to Jo & Jem, they've got themselves the best pup in the world He'll love being in a house with two young children, he love's kids almost as much as he loves other dogs! I imagine he'll wear them out nicely! (& them him) Well done to Kate for finding an adopter! Just goes to show you never know where one might be. Let's hope Jo & Jem sign up to the forum so they can keep us informed with how the lad is doing.... Plus of course so they can choose a playmate for him at some point.... !

An update email from his new family this morning. - We love him to bits, he is so lovely. I guess it's time to move Alfie to Happy Endings. ;D I will come and visit little man next time I am down in the New Forest. I need an Alfie cuddle fix.

Spoke to Alfies new mum today and said i would post her comments - she promises to join the forum soon ..... Alfie has slotted in so well - he plays like mad for a while but then settles in his bed typical roach style He has a special attachment to their youngest son who is five which is lovely to see - he is still a bit unsettled and cries like mad when they leave the house so they are going to invest in a crate to help keep the kitchen intact He sleeps at the top of their stairs at night and is a very happy boy. I have seen him up the school a couple of times and everyone comments on him as he is so handsome .... Through this rehoming we have a bit of interest in SLR - another lady is very keen to home a lurcher, she has one already - so is just waiting to see what i foster next !!!! I have explained she needs to go through Jenny and Barney first I will get Jo to email me some pictures of Alfie with his new brothers so we can all drool over him again. I am so pleased for the lad - he is a special boy Adrian and Nikki and whoever else fostered did a grand job Kate xxxx Just to add - they have gone through so many toys already as Alfie likes to kill them all .... have suggested some alternatives just so that they dont have to remortgage !!!!!!! he he

Just to add - they have gone through so many toys already as Alfie likes to kill them all .... have suggested some alternatives just so that they dont have to remortgage !!!!!!! he he hi Kate. Just back from a week away at Centre Parcs & catching up with the forum! My mum gave us a tip to help make the toys last a bit longer. We put them in a pillow case & tied a knot at the top. Then, when he managed to make a hole in the pillow case, we tied a knot in that corner etc. Eventually he would get through to the toy, so we just put it in another pillow case and so on..... This method definitely helped the tennis balls last longer than 5 minutes! He was very good at getting the fuzzy covering off xx
