Alfie was supposed to live with his owner's sister when his owner emigrated to New Zealand. That was the plan. But his new mum's whippet has other ideas and DOES NOT like Alfie. Alfie has a lovely disposition, is bouncy, big and lovable but is now scared of her alfa male. Alfie is approximately 18 months old, good on the lead, good off the lead. This is what his carer has said about him. ............................................................. Alfie is a handsome, 100 percent genuine dog, if I could name any vice it's that he can get a bit excited when playing or meeting other dogs. (But I also think that's quite normal for a puppy!) He is very friendly and basically loves dogs, people and is good with children - he has been brought up with a 10 year old and 17 year old and a cat. However, because of his size, it might not be a good idea for him to be in a home with very small children as he might accidentally knock them over! He walks nicely to lead and obeys basic commands such as "sit" and "lie down." He also comes back when called. Ideally he would be happiest in a home with older children and/or maybe another largish dog to play with and a decent size garden. Whilst we are trying to rehome Alfie straight from his carer, we may also be bringing him into SLR if a foster can be found. All enquiries to Barney or Jenny in the first instance.

Hi, it might be your firewall settings, if your not using an external firewall check your security settings within tools in internet explorer. Lower the security. Good luck, failing that beat it with a large stick, it wont fix it but your feel alot better ;D Hope it works as he is so handsome

Judy has phoned to say that Alfie is absolutely lovely and is playing wonderfully with her girlie. I think this one can go in Happy Endings now. ;D
