Amy has come into us today with Pablo. Presently resting with Donna in Surrey before she continues her journey up to Hertfordshire to her new foster mum and Dad Viv and John. Amy has been several months in the rescue kennels and as they are a mixed rescue holding kennels they feel it would be better for the two of them to come into a dedicated rescue to find a new home. Amy is neutered and had her first vax. She has had a lot of tlc from the kennels and is a happy lively girlie. Amy will be assessed in her foster home before being put up for adoption. We do not think she is cat friendly. We can't name the kennels, but thank them very much for the work that they do to rescue these lovely dogs A few piccies of Amy from Donna

The pictures really don't do her justice at all She is one of the prettiest girlies I've seen. She's a bit institutionalised and the outside world is a big place after 5 months in kennels, so she was feeling a bit nervy but there is a very clever little minx inside just waiting to come out to play

Amy is a bit more difficult to read than Pablo. Like him she is about 23" but is heavier at 23 kg. She is smaller than Honey with very neat and tiny paws.
She appears to be very confident but I wonder how much of that is front. She tends not to relax easily and even when resting against your lap she can be breathing fast and shallow. She seems to be a very clever (and manipulative) girl; I think she has more brains than Jack, Honey and Pablo put together.
She doesn't pull too much on the lead, until she sees a cat, which she detests and despises. She also snaps at bees and wasps but hasn't caught any yet.
She will suit as a family dog, but probably needs more brain work that your average lurcher.
Neither Pablo nor Amy have been off lead yet. When they do, I think we might have to muzzle Amy to protect any cats she might see in a half mile radius.

You mean you've had dinner. We are still microwaving dinner!! Amy is all and more than John has said. She is level, loving and fun loving. She knows how far she will let little Pablo go and then with the help of the dog policewoman Honey, they call quits. She is one incredible and gorgeous girlie. Apart from the french kisses God, I love her. She is just to die for. I have taken some photos and iwll post them when we ever get some dinner!! She is going to break some hearts because whoever gets her is going to be the lucky one.

Amy is a lovely little girl (compared with Honeylump). I let her off lead this morning while Viv had kittens. She didn't go too far, but when she started scanning the horizon my nerve failed and she was popped back on the lead.
