He is gorgeous I'm getting very attached. I even love the way he smells ;D He's coming along but he is either a devil or angel typical lurcher Bruce reminds me a lot of him. He's my first foster and I wont have another one now until Penny is no longer with us (which I hope will be a LONG way in the future.) She's been wonderful with Baxter but I can only foster over the long summer holiday (I work in schools) and if she's about next year she'll be too old for all this malarky. I have enjoyed it and I think Baxter has too

Thanks for posting the pic for me caroline - my computer is still not accepting pictures ... grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr I spoke to Nick and Kerry this afternoon and Bruce was settling in really well - he had been for a nice walk over the fields with the family and then enjoyed a game of football with his big brother Adam - whilst i was talking to them Bruce was laying on the nice cool kitchen floor ...... Be Happy Bruce ....... and try not to fart too much

Well done to all of you looks like Bruce will have a happy life with his new family. I thought my foster dog was the only one that could fart for England she must have competition in Bruce.

Bruce has been with us now for nearly 5 weeks and has settled in amazingly well. He's been a big hit with everyone who's met him. He's been on holiday with us to the New Forest, where he christened the curtains in the barn where we were staying, but otherwise was an angel! We've discovered that he's scared of cows, ignores horses and sheep and will chase rabbits, pheasants, foxes and deer. He loves to go swimming in the river to cool off. Bruce has been a lovely addition to the family. Our son is totally besotted with him and loves the fact the Bruce sleeps next to his bed - except when he's windy!! 'Dogs' is the subject our son has chosen for his school project this term. Will add photos later.
