It is really hard to believe that he hasn't been snapped up. He is so handsome and his coloring is really lovely and different.

Poor Dodger. Is that yellow strip a drain?
Are the police or warden involved yet?
He's gorgeous.

Could folks wishing to post regarding poor Dodger's injuries please do so on the relevant thread in General Chat rather than here? (otherwise two separate threads will be running on the same subject).
Many thanks.

We would love to come and see Dodger, he seems really sweet. We lost our lovely lurcher Eddie to cancer 2 weeks ago - Eddie came from Lurcher Link and we have been homechecked by LL. It would be great if I could call you to discuss Paula. Best wishes, Fiona

dodger has someone coming to see him this afternoon, so fingers crossed Dodger was cat tested by Paula today, & his reaction was to have a quick sniff of the feline angipode, then ignore it, so 'tis looking good for someone with resident cats.
(Outside the home environment he usually reverts to normal Lurcher status, though, & will chase cats if they run).
Everything crossed please for the lad, in the hope that all goes well when he & his prospective new owners meet each other today.

Thank you so much Jayne in Hampshire for your kind donation towards Dodger's vet bills, which has just been confirmed by PayPal.

HOT OFF THE PRESS!:
Dodger will be going to his new forever home after he has had his stitches out next Saturday!
Having been introduced to him, his new owners would naturally have liked to take him home with them today since they fell in love with him, but it was felt that it would be best that the vets who dealt with his injuries & are familiar with him finally sign him off.
Thank you so much Fiona & family for offering Dodger his forever home - trust me, you'll never regret it!
Thank you also Paula for taking such very good care of the lad generally, & for seeing him through the aftermath of his recent unpleasant experience, which was obviously traumatic for both of you - you're a Superstar!
Barney x

I can definitely confirm that Dodger is a real love - very very friendly, super handsome - the girls just loved him... and happily he does not seem affected by his recent trauma. Paula has given him such a lovely home - best to get him out of there though before she changes her mind and keeps him - someone may need to help hold Roger and Paula back next weekend as we drive off! I will catch up with Jenny tomorrow to discuss the details. ;D
