Young Ronnie came to us as he was proving a bit of a handful for his elderly mum, who was unable to give him the amount of exercise needed by a Lurcher pup.
Ronnie stands about 26” to the shoulder. He is neutered, vaxed, microchipped & wormed, & has had Advocate administered. He has obviously been very well cared for, since he’s in superb condition with a lovely glossy coat.
Ronnie is dog friendly – he’s integrated well with the Harlow Hooligans, & also people friendly. Cats are as yet an unknown quantity. He is very playful, & early indications are that he might be a countersurfer.

The immaculate Ronnie & his scruffy playmate in a rare moment of repose between Lurcher play sessions:
The lad is behaving very well, (if a tad boisterously ), & continues to walk well on the lead. He has a good appetite, & although he's always waiting with soulful eyes for his food, he isn't by any means a gannet.
Ronnie has chosen to sleep on the large settee, & has gone right through both nights here so far without stirring. He has also remained clean in the house.

From all what you are saying about him, Barney, he's absolutely no trouble at all, then?

From all what you are saying about him, Barney, he's absolutely no trouble at all, then? Ronnie is precisely as much 'trouble' as any bouncy young Lurcher pup Viviane, ;D & he appears to have no major issues that need resolving. He's proving to be very affectionate - loves a fuss & a cuddle.

So, apart from his puppy lurcher antics, he is an easy-going little chap without any baggage!! He will settle in straight away once the right home is coming up for him - how wonderful! Viviane. X

Ronnie has quietened down a little since he first arrived:
...............but he's still game for a playfight with Annie at any time:
Ronnie has been fine with all the other dogs we've met when out on walks, & is socialising well with Bailey, the new kid on the block.

Ronnie today, sporting a different collar, since he slipped t'other one whilst leaping around trying to join Annie on her off lead romp in the woods this morning. To be fair to the lad, she does wind him up, trying to get him to play. ;D
The two of them together, (not, it must be said, an unusual sight! ):

Good luck happy boy xxx 'Twas indeed good fun Jo - the dogs certainly seemed to enjoy the various goings-on, with Sui the star of the show taking no nonsense from the big boys! ;D
Ronnie has today travelled down to Hampshire, where he'll be fostered by his Auntie Jayne, (Pumpkinlady), & her family. Fingers crossed that the lovely lad will prove a hit with the resident hounds!
