What a handsome boy you are Harley and great to see the gorgeous Paddy who ably assisted Brenda and Rod with our home check for Dash!

After a flying visit home yesterday we're back in Suffolk. The weather is iffy today so after a wander around the village earlier, we have been playing in the garden. Treat catching Today is the first time he's 'got' this. Playing 'find it' We started with thrown bits of kibble on the ground and then moved to a chew more properly 'hidden'. This is take two; take one involved finding and eating an apple core, stealing and running about with two windfall apples and a pear, raiding the raspberries and thinking hard about rolling in the ash from the bonfire. So, yeah: improvement We're off to Pets at Home tonight for another try at getting him some better food. On day two of mixing in Wainwright's grain free 'Puppy' (up to 18 months), he was high as a kite and waaaay to exciteable . No malice in him at all, just bonkers and barking. Less protein needed methinks! Halti work is going well. He is a sweetie.

Great action shots Jules! Harley's such a sociable boy (wish mine would play nicely like that).

This has made me happy - wonderful pics of dogs having fun. Harley looks like he is grasping his new life with all four paws and making the very most of it. You are doing a great job, Jules.

It was just great to meet Harley and amazing that's he has only been with Jules for about ten days, she's done wonders with him. As you can see, he and Socks had a brilliant time in and out of the water; he was too much for Her Fluffiness who kept shouting at him to get out of her face but he was not bothered and just shouted back then shot off to play with Socks some more! He is one happy pup with lots still to learn but with not a bad bone in his body. I'm hoping we'll get to see more of this fab young man. Great job again SLR xx
