Ro is right! He does sound pretty perfect, with just the right amount of cheekiness thrown in. Destroying toys may just be a "puppy phase"!! Love this boy xx

Harley sounds wonderful! Gem is also very wary of GSD and Huskies. He sounds very intelligent too 😊🤓

Great pics, the b&w one of the beach looks like a storm-racked desert island somewhere! Is that the remains of someone's house too?

Great pics, the b&w one of the beach looks like a storm-racked desert island somewhere! Is that the remains of someone's house too? Part of a house, yes. Probably a tank or cellar. I would imagine the house would be long gone by now, probably demolished and rebuilt further inland. The erosion on this stretch of coastline is pretty brutal and seems to be speeding up. Today Harley and I went round the nearest farm's headlands and footpaths. He was VERY interested, tracking partridge and pheasant. The more interested he gets, the stronger he gets, so this afternoon we did some Halti training. He worked hard and was very good, so we had playtime afterwards. He was keen to run today rather than play; it's been pretty windy here today and I think the wind got up his tail as he was whizzing round and round (and scrumping apples and raspberries but we won't mention that). After a while we had to scurry indoors to beat the rain and thunder (which he isn't bothered by, but I think the poor lad has got rained on every day since he's been with me!). He's now asleep across two of the three-seats on the sofa, while I'm squished at the end.

I know that young lurchers can be a handful but I didn't think they could do THAT much damage in one trip to the beach!!!

After a difficult start, Harley has shown that all he needed was to be given the chance and he would blossom. Brilliant updates Jules - this boy is exactly my kind of dog. Always love to see a new update or set of pics (no pressure though ).
