And here's 2 tired boys drying off on the sofa with Humbug the Careers Cat (he sometimes comes to work with me in London for stressed students to cuddle!) Note the lurcher mug!!

Lovely pics, thanks for posting. Pics of hounds snuggles up with cats always put a big smile on my face......that would NEVER happen with any of my lot!

Have just taken both boys on a late night round the estate wee walk.
One of our cats, Dandy, came too - was running around and between dogs' legs. Not a peep.
Then they saw a neighbour's cat though and it was a different picture - lucky they have strong leads!
So it is an odd sort of chase drive as I don't think they see our cats as prey even outside the house.
Mind you I wouldn't argue with Dandy - he's the one who ripped into a friend's Golden Doodle who got a bit too familiar, and he's actually smacked me - packs quite a punch even with no claws.

We were just talking about Tigger yesterday, so lovely to see photos of him, he was our 2nd foster if I remember correctly! So sorry you lost Bunter, he was lovely, but glad you've found Tigger a wonderful new companion, he and Cooper (and the cats) look very happy together!!

Oh so lovely to hear from you - do you remember that lovely walk we went on?
We often think of you and how well socialised Tigger was by you.
Yes, Bunter was a horrid loss - he had a stroke but he was so old he basically didn't want to be here any more, poor old chap. He saw Alex through Primary School and right up to the end of her first term at University, so I think he did a great job.
We do still miss him a lot though.

Yes, I'll never forget Tigger jumping in and out of the field of wheat - he lived up to his name! we loved Tigger, he was such a sweetie, it's so nice to know how they're getting on. Please give him a big from me! I sympathise as we still dearly miss our old springer Tipton, who we lost 2 years ago now. They leave such a hole and you never stop missing them! Maybe one day we can meet up again, I think our new girl Darcy would love to bounce around with Tigger and Cooper!

Oh I remember Tipton - so sorry he's gone to the Bridge.
Weird how sometimes you forget they are gone too - really catches you out doesn't it!
It'd be lovely to meet up again - would love to meet Darcy (and you!)
Are you around in early September? We could meet half way? Or you're welcome to come back to visit us of course XX
