I hope this worked - it's a photo of lovely Dave and our Tigger on the sofa together just now It's hard to tell them apart - they look like twins! Dave has obviously been very loved and he's a real poppet - went to sleep in the back of the car on the way back to Sussex, has had his tea and a little explore of the front garden and house. The back garden is off limits at the moment as the (11) cats are mostly there - he's seen them and barked but more in excitement than anything I think. We have a large red British shorthair who looks like the cat in the original pictures of him so I hope they will be good friends. Will post more - and if I've not managed to make the picture work then I will try again as they do look very sweet!

Gosh, this has all happened so quickly that I missed it. Lovely photo of Dave in his new home, he looks very happy and relaxed. I hope it all goes well with the puss cats

It's so lovely seeing him settled. I only had him 2 days and he's already lefts a dog shaped hole in our home! Any longer and I would of kept him myself and I've never failed as a foster as yet! Be happy young Dave! Xx

Lovely Dave has settled down in his own bed on the landing - though he does prefer the upholstery!! Just been for an on-lead walk in the garden just in case ;-) but Tigger so keen to to play that let him off for zoomies. He was perfect and came back when asked (unlike Tigger LOL) Now he's asleep on a chair. He's met the 2 old and bold boy cats and all is fine. Next will come the younger boys and the girls - so far so good (11 of them, poor chap!). What a little treasure - feel fairly sure he's a foster to fail (!)

Hello - I am so happy to see and watch this, I can't tell you. It was our female cat boo boo who followed Dave on all his walks and brought him "gifts" - she is v quiet without him. I'm so pleased his settled, he is truly the nicest gentlest dawggie ❤️

So pleased to share - he's been so well brought up he's a total pleasure to have in the house! Here's a pic of one of our senior boys, Jack, with him just now. He's been singing a bit but not too much. He and Tigger seem like they have been chums for ever! We were a bit worried about your cats as they are bound to miss him - hopefully they will keep each other company Our cats don't really do gifts - hope he won't mind too much!

Any updates on our Dave Dawg is doing? A house is so quiet without a dawggie isn't it? ☹️Sending him big loves❤️

He's had a good day - I think he's still not quite used to being with another dog all the time so tends to follow Tigger around, which is v sweet. The cats (10 out of the 11) are quite happy around him. The 11th is v grumpy about the whole thing, but since he thinks he's the boss that's not surprising!
Lovely Dave woke us in the middle of the night with a huge howl - no idea what that was about as he was quite happily asleep.
He's had a walk round the garden with me this evening and kept to the paths (I am a keen gardener so that's major brownie points for him!)
I'll give him a hug from you!!

That is so very lovely to hear. Thank you. He IS such a good boy isn't he. We noticed his dreaming had got more vocal with the odd growl while he was sleeping as he has got older - never heard him growl any other time! Big loves to Dave❤️

Lovely Dave Dawg and Tigger are curled up on the sofa together with 2 of our cats - the 2 who were most cross about the new arrival are actually the 2 snuggled up!
I will try and get a photo
So sweet

Well bless him Dave has survived a trip to Worcestershire to visit our relatives. He behaved beautifully (apart from singing along to the wind chimes at 5 this morning!)
Such a sweet boy
