Vets in Harold Hill have contacted me this morning. They have a Saluki X Lurcher male, unneutered who has been brought into them by a member of the public with bite wounds, mostly to his chest. He is very friendly and appears to be other dog friendly. Thought to be around 2-3 years old. Some travellers have most out of the area this morning and he was found where they had left. He needs to be moved from the Vets, can spend a weekend in kennels if necessary, but it would be better for him to be in a sterile environment. This is the only photo I have of him at the moment. The dog warden has been informed. If anyone has a mo can they check on dog lost, going back possibly a year just in case he was a stolen dog. BUT... we need a foster home for him p.d.q.

I have checked all male saluki and first page (of 5) of male/lurchers on doglost. No matches.

I've had a look through DogLost and there's nothing like him registered so far.
I checked under 'lurcher' and 'Saluki' but there's nothing.

We've room at the inn now and how could I resist that face. Poor boy, bites, in pain and seemingly dumped, but perhaps it was a lucky escape however he came to be alone. Thank goodness he was found.

Sally and Tim, you are lovely Jenny's email about him came through literally within minutes of Tim coming home with Abi's ashes today. The timing of it felt like the right thing to do, offer him a roof to sleep under, a garden to play in and start him on his new life
