Bones has been in holding kennels since early February. I have had an email from the local Dog Warden (Hampshire) to ask if we can bring him in as there is now an ultimatum on him from the local Council. That ultimatum is next Tuesday. All I know at the moment is that he is 3 year's old. Is microchipped but seized as a stray on the 16th February. I have replied asking for more details, other dog friendly etc.

Whyever have they taken so long to contact the rescues?

I'd love to say yes Sara, but that leaves me with a lot of pressure to find him a foster then.
And they say they have tried many Rescues. He didn't try us til now!

To be fair to the Dog Warden, he doesn't do the Rescue placements, the holding kennels do. He may have only just told them about me and not have known that the dog was still with them.

Ok understand - I'm just reluctant to offer Foster, Kezzie is getting a bit senile at the moment and very dependent on me giving her 100% attention and I don't want to upset her applecart.

I'm afraid I'm out of the equation for fostering but if someone does come forward please let me know if I can help with transport being he is in Hampshire and so are we. He has a lovely face, fingers crossed there is a fosterer out there.

We could probably take him if he is dog friendly.

His face reminds me of Elmer. I should be able to help with transport if he's in my area of Hampshire. Sorry I can't help with fostering.
