Guess someone found the best spot in the house! I think Bebe was off her face with painkillers and I was lulled into a false sense of security. She finished her tramadol on Friday and is definately more lively than I first thought. Just a typical pup, wanting to explore. Izzy actually gave her a game of bitey face....i held on to her collar! If she wasn't on the lead she would've shot down the garden like a rocket this morning. Up on her hind legs! Minx

Well, Miss Bebe has been with us a week now. The hardest thing is keeping her occupied whilst not exercising her. As with all lurcher puppies, they are busy and inquisitive. Thankfully over the years I have built quite a collection of toys to investigate. She likes to chew and stag antlers are a godsend. So far, Bebe has met my guinea pigs....very interested in playing. Pigeons.....would chase if she could! And many new people....loves everyone. There isn't a bad bone in her body (except the broken ones). She loves my dogs and they've accepted her, despite her young age as she does seem to 'understand' bounderies. She sleeps through the night in her crate without any noise, she also goes in her den with chews and kongs throughout the day and she seems to accept this. Even with us and the dogs walking about. Most of the time Bebe is dry in the house, she doesn't yet pee on command and tends to faff about until she realises what is expected. Very easily distracted outside! Working on recall in the house, I think she knows her name. All in all a wonderful, bright, happy dog.

She's doing really well isn't she? It will be brilliant when she can run around, and she should have learnt some commands by then, sounds like you might need them! Great job Claire xx

Yep, she sure is cute. You are brilliant Claire. Lovely pics. Can I come and sit in front of your wood burner. We had one in our other house, but not here and we do miss it.

Always welcome to share my fire. Bebe is always ready for a cuddle too She loves humans. Hoping to book Miss Bebe in for her lady op next week, as she's on restricted movement anyway. She's dealing quite well with it really. She loves throwing toys around so who ever adopts her will need crash helmets . I really do love her to bits. No chance of ff but looking for a very special home for her Sorry for lack of pics, there are only so many resting adorably pictures i can take. No action shots

What a gorgeous girl. It is strange the way different vets choose different ways for recovery of a broken leg.
Evie had her bandage off after a week and she hardly ever licked the wound and I didn't need a collar on her.
Good luck keeping her calm over the following weeks, I hope Bebe is a calmer patient than Evie has been.

Good luck keeping her calm over the following weeks, I hope Bebe is a calmer patient than Evie has been. I'm hoping her bandage comes off tomorrow. It has a splint in so in a way it is good because of the added protection. She took her collar off in her crate last night and didn't touch her bandage. It is hard work keeping her calm. My dogs ignore her attempts to play so she tends to occupy herself, chewing toys and throwing things around. Lady op booked for Monday.
