Looks like she is trying to roach but the weight of her leg dressing is hindering her attempt, bless her.

That dressing is massive! Bless her. Huge thanks Claire for taking her over. And Sally for taking her in in the interim. xx

She was like that here too Claire but as those few days went by and she established her regular spots for pees and poos in the garden she got better at going when we walked her to them. Funny little thing would poo facing the same fence panel but before depositing she would put her front legs up the panel and then 'go' on the way back down.

Today Bebe went to visit my vets, initially for intro's and vax but her bandage had started to slip so had a new/lighter one put on. They requested her medical records and were quite shocked at the break she had and were full of praises for SLR taking her in and saving her leg. She behaved beautifully and won some hearts. Tonight she demonstrated your description of her pooping style perfectly Sally Paws against the wall then stoopy poop. What's that all about??? Oh well, it takes allsorts

She will be happier with a lighter bandage. Her poop style sounds weird - wonder where she got that idea from?!!!!!

The angle of that pic makes it look like one leg is twice as long as the other! Hope she keeps healing fast and is soon able to be bandage-free.

So yesterday evening Bebe was in the kitchen with me and Neil. Betsy was quietly poking around, when Bebe decided to 'cuddle' Betsy and got a telling off. Bebe did the scream of death for about 30 seconds. No contact was made but she obviously is tender at the moment (and a saluki diva). She seems none the worse for her run in but we are due to get her splint checked today for movement so will ask the vet to check her leg to be safe. We are being so careful with her and this really shook me up. I can't believe how protective i feel of her.

I know how you feel when they squeal like that. I get so anxious if Alice cries out but so far it's just been the Saluki cry, but it still brings out the protective feelings big time. I hope it's the same for Bebe. She's so cute with her fancy long bandage. Sounds like she's finding her place in the pack and will soon be settled into her slot and feeling secure. Well done for taking care of her and giving her a great new start.

Salukis squeal in anticipation that they might get hurt. I am sure Bebe will be fine. It does give you a fright though!

Sending positive be okay leg vibes for the gorgeous girl. Talking of Divas, Lottie stepped on a bramble thorn on our walk this morning and squealed the place down. I had to administer lots of strokes and cuddles before it was properly healed

A new bandage and splint more importantly no damage and no charge Megan, the vet said she is a model patient, she just sits there and lets them do what they need. She said that Bebe shouldn't need sedating for her xray but all being well (if she has no season) she can be spayed and x-rayed on the same day. Thank you all for your positive vibes.

just chillin It's hard to take anything but relaxing pictures with a dog on enforced rest Bebe is settling down nicely. I am aware of the 2 week rule....waiting to see her true self but I'd be very surprised if she became a gremlin. Her initial age was guestimated at 18 months but both me and the vet think she is more likely to be a year or younger. She just has a puppiness about her. A real treasure that anyone would be lucky to have as a companion ♡
