Lily is currently with the lady that found her. She needs to come into foster as the lady lives in a flat and works more than is fair to Lily. The Dog Warden is aware and Lily has around 13 days left to run her time before she can be released for adoption. This is what her carer has to say about Lily. Lilly arrived in my life on 15th August 2015 and we tried to find out who her owner might be. Sadly she does not seem to have one. Lilly cannot be permanently re-homed until 14th September 2015. She will need to be fostered until then. Lilly is about one year old. Lilly was shaved before she came bounding into my life, her hair is growing back but will get longer then it is in this photo. In the time that I have known Lilly I have found her to be a lovely dog, full of fun and a joy to spend time with. Everywhere I take her people say the same. Lilly has some issues with her legs but she is getting stronger all the time. She will need to live with someone who has time to help her get stronger, enjoys spending time out and about with her as she has lots of energy and she does need help to learn some rules. Lilly loves children and other dogs, she is a very good natured dog and very playful. My cat is not sure about Lilly but Lilly has been great with her. The cat comes in and out of my flat as she always has with Lilly here. Lilly is very bright and learns quickly, she loves to get things right but can be determined at times needing a strong, consistent but gentle approach. Lilly has been scared by people at some point, she is getting more used to different noses and things going on around her every day but she does need tender loving care to build up her trust again. As you can see in the photo of Lilly and my sister she is a very affectionate dog. Lilly is a joy and will be a great addition to the right home. I will miss her loads but sadly I am not the right home for her. This is Lilly.

Aaawwwww, bless her - she looks like a shaved version of the Scruffster. I wonder if she'll end up as hairy as him.....

I'm in the smooth-coat fan club but I have to say I always love the ones with those fluffy whiskers. I'm not able to foster I'm afraid as I still have Effie until 9th September and then I'm away for work.

Just seen this thread, I've been away for a few days. She could come to us as she seems cat friendly??

Shame to waste a cat friendly, when we have a cat in a foster home Claire. Philippa also has a cat but it keeps out the way.
I will put both options to Kate, Philippa and Claire. She is willing to transport her.
But this has to be tomorrow folks. x

Sorry, my cat died so we are cat free. Either way is fine with me.

Oh bless. So sorry Philippa. Decision made, best match and to keep her cat friendly is Claire in Kent. Kate is happy to transport her over there tomorrow. xx

The right decision. Good timing Claire!! A cat friendly is a precious thing. Unlikely she would have remained cat friendly here with Mr Grumps. Still, it got my cleaning/sorting out head on* in preparation for a little lodger, so some good work done all round. Looking forward to lots more pics and updates. *ETA: Reading that back...am I the only idiot who cleans/re-arranges rooms for a prospective 4-legged lodger???

Excellent - good luck Lily and Claire.
Zephyr and I are waiting eagerly for our next guest. Looks like we are ok with neutered, non-dominant boys too now.

Or a 'no' Loz, we have a small house and there's always a move about when we have a 4legged guest although I DO clean on other occasions ( or is that occasionally) !
