Have now met some cows wandering across the Forest, Lottie was trying to get me too bark at them but mum said NO, come and I went back to her. She says I'm a good girl - sometimes! Went to the swimming pool with Dudley on Monday - he has a poorly hip - I wasn't allowed in so stayed in the car and I behaved myself. Starting to get the idea of going to sleep when travelling - just can't stand mum's driving!

Skye has been very good with the cat so far, she would like him to play with her and he does sometimes respond. I think if he were to run she would chase but not in a nasty way, just a puppy play way. She loves to lick his ears and he responds by rubbing against her and the other day he laid on top of the rabbit run and she laid with him - they both love sun bathing!

Well, here we are again! I have been a bit restricted over the last few days because I pulled a muscle in my shoulder - no walks and restricted play and it was all Buzz' fault, she was playing with me! Last night I was allowed to go for a walk with my pals as long as everyone was sensible - Lottie was put on the lead twice because she was trying to wind me up - she really is a naughty dog at times. I of course am always well behaved!!! Well except for the dog toy box I've had to chew on and of course once mum gave me a chew toy I left it alone - just couldn't see them inside the toy box! I've had a lead walk today, met quite a few people and dogs. I am allowed off lead in safe areas now and always come when called although I never stray far from mum - haven't got Uncle Dudley or the others to give me confidence. Will update again soon, love Skye

Shoulder seems fine, trying to police play!!!! This young lady just loves playing with her palls. Yes Skye loves playing with a ball - not allowed to at the moment - she was bringing it back to my hand most of the time and was showing-up her border collie palls.

At last I am allowed to get on and enjoy myself - shoulder feeling great! I have at last gone out with all my friends on a proper walk, I absolutely love belting around with my pals at the beginning of the walk - one of the old grumpies runs and plays with me, must be feeling more at home- anyway these blooming collies can out manoeuvre me on cornering but I can easily keep-up with them on the straight. Some of the grandchildren came round today, they are real wind-up merchants and started to encourage me to jump-up, mum stepped in and I soon calmed down, it was much nicer to snuggle up to the grown-ups, have tickles, smooths and go to sleep - Buzz entertained the children, Dudley licked their ears and order was restored. I love having company and hate being on my own, just need to tear-up a cardboard roll and then off to sleep. Goodnight, love Skye.

It was lovely and sunny this morning so mum let me walk with the others. Saw a big bird, wanted to say hello but it flew away. Lottie, as usual, tried to get me in trouble by running through mucky mud - as if I would go through that! Anyway we went to the stream to clean her up and it looked so nice and cool that I actually had a little paddle, only got my paws wet but it was nice. That was much better than falling in the pond with all those fish and I might try it another day if it is warm. Had a lovely groom today, up on the grooming table, enjoyed the treat for being a good girl and am now ready for a snooze. love Skye zzzzz

Cilla has decided to keep Skye. As we have not received any paperwork on Skye she is not an SLR dog. Cilla finds she can't let her go. All the best for the future little Skye and Cilla.
