There was never a moment when Janine, myself and the dog warden were not in constant contact, having exchanged several emails. On the urgent thread, I did immediately state that it may now be sorted. Viviane, most people offer their assistance to me, not to the dog warden. This whole situation was completely sorted. There was absolutely no need to sit by the phone. By your own admission you put yourself in that position. Within one minute of puttingout a plea for a transport run I also put up that this was now sorted as Janine had offered to do the whole run. I am sorry if you did not read that Viviane but your first port of call is to myself, either by pm or email, not directly to the dog warden. mimsmum.proboards.com/thread/29297/kennels-near-chichester-southampton-docks?page=1&scrollTo=434934

Glad it's all sorted, Jenny, and he is on his way to Janine. As we thought you are in hospital, we took our own initiative to help and try and find out when his seven days are up and arrange to pick him up for his stay on the Isle of Wight. I'm sure you meant very well Vivianne, but I can't quite believe you did that!? There is an established committee that can, and do, run SLR in Jenny's absence.
And I must also tick you off for referring to the holding kennels by name. This is something we never do for the security of the dogs and the kennels.

You have nothing to apologise for Janine. In fact, quite the opposite.

Poor boy. He looks in sore need of some TLC and proper care. Well done Janine for getting him home in your "window"! I hope you all have a peaceful night.

Just look at his poor scarred face. Thank doG he is now safe with you Janine. Like Fran, I'd love to get my hands on the ****ers who are responsible for this. Death is too good for them! Give the poor little hound a hug from me please Janine.

Oh poor little lad - he is so scarred but looks so eager to please and to be loved. Not many pics bring a tear to my eye, but those did. I am so pleased he is with Janine and her family - I am pretty sure he couldn't be in a better environment to start his new life. I hope Grace comes round to him but Lottie sounds like she is getting to quite enjoy having the fosters.

It's so lovely to see him snuggled on the sofa. He will see real love now and I too would like to rip the face off the b's who. did that to him. Well done Janine.

Poor poor boy, but even with all those scars, he is still a stunner. He will be so easy to love, so can't see him hanging around for a new home too long. Bless him

Gosh, there's a bit of work there to get him shining, but you've done it before Janine. His coat is so dull but his eyes are not....they're just like Alfie's...hmmm, as are the ears. Another coming from here, and some 'stop humping' vibes to get you started.
