Hello and thanks for all the great messages. Paddy is doing incredibly well - when we met Jenny and Mike yesterday to bring him home him he jumped into the back of the car and lay down with his new pal without any fuss at all. He didn't make a sound all the way back to East Sussex, good as gold and no car sickness. We've since had a few lovely walks (thank goodness the forecast for rain wasn't quite right). We tested him out in a safely enclosed area off the lead and his recall is brilliant (thanks Jenny!) and today we were out for about an hour and half on Lullington Heath near our village and he was off lead the whole way around. He never looked to make a break, and does that great thing where he checks over his shoulder every 30 seconds or so to make sure you're still there, which is very encouraging. One word and he bounds straight back and sits in front of you - amazing for a dog so young. He's also done the rounds of friends houses today and has met several of their dogs, and got on like a house on fire with all of them. We're extremely lucky to have him. Here a couple of snaps from today. The boys having their breakfast this morning. The wide open spaces of Lullington Heath - he had a whale of a time and didn't stop running all the way round. Thanks again for all your kind messages. Paddy is going to have a great life here with us, as will we with him. We'll post more pics every so often so you can see how he's doing. Cheers, Tony and Sarah

Lovely updates. It's great to hear how well he is doing and the photo of them eating is brilliant. Well done for adopting this lovely little boy... it sounds like he's found his perfect home
