Paddy hit two milestones this week. He travelled 5 miles to pick Baxter up with me and back again without being sick on Wednesday. Thursday he managed the morning, but the afternoon was sick, but we are getting there. And today he had his first off lead blast with Tag and Mim. Tag is so tolerant of all the pups that come in and Paddy followed him around the field, chasing the Frisbees but not knowing what to do with them. Hmmm. a lot of whippet in that there brain. I can't believe there is not a home out there with a like-minded dog for him to be with. He is a respectful little pup and knows that he is bottom of the pecking order in our pack. They are all good to him and play bitey face with him and then when they have had enough tell him, and he respects that. He lounges around like a Lurcher, isn't as fast on his feet as a Lurcher, very delicate and ploddy in his jumping. He likes to go down like a border collie when the others are running towards him and then pounce, but they are too quick for him.
Paddy has met our neighbour's cat, who doesn't budge an inch for a barking pup, and he has backed down when Minnie hissed. But he does not generally see cats outside, and our pack are not cat friendly (except Tag and Mims).
This lad is a lovely lad, who is loyal, and loving. He is not in your face, good on the lead and clean indoors. So..... where are you all?
We have to re-iterate we do not rehome to anyone who works outside the home with young pups, so home based or someone at home most of the time. x

A really lovely pup learning his manners from an extended pack and a knowledgeable and caring human. The best of starts really, you would think people would be fighting over him!

I thought I had a movie, but pressed the wrong button. Annie and Paddy having a tug of war. Annie got told off for being OTT. Paddy got the toy
