Eating well enjoying company! A a little moan for about 15mins last night when lights went out but then slept right through with no slip ups through the night. 1st thing straight to verge for a wee and poos all back to normal. Met up with all normal lurchers from area this morning and mixed very well with tail wagging and wanting to play, a real celeb at the moment. He's a bit all over the place on a lead so seems like he's not used to that but he's a quick learner. I'm just amazing how well he is doing after been given last rights by vet Friday evening. More photos/posts to come soon!

Aww.... bless him. Poor Bob has probably never experienced much kindness in his life so he must feel a little confused. But you are now in safe hands, Bob, and learn that life can be fun! Viviane. X

Forgot to say he is very good in the car, settles quickly and doesn't try to move around. Will be out visiting family tonight with him so will let you all know how we get on! Nice adventure for him.

He looks very relaxed, but he thinks he has landed in doggy heaven! Any idea roughly what kind of age he could be?

My guess from teeth and playful behaviour is around 18months, vet suggested to the local paper he was 2 - 3 years but then they called me a young boy which at 53 I was very pleased about ;-)

The advantage of being so young is that Bob will soon forget what happened to him in the past and he can look forward to a very happy life. Viviane. LOL, That's our Rosie - Bobs new friend (not bad having a girlfriend on hand also!) We've had her for near on 7 years now from Lurcher rescue in dorset. She was dumped by travellers at the Council carpark with her bro. Think she was in worse state than Bob and very traumatised. Now she is just wonderful. Bob loves her but Rosie moans a bit when he keeps licking her, suppose she been top dog for so long. Still we are sharing the love well between two. My sig photo was bit large so will reduce and put it back later! Thanks for all your support and kind words x

Hi Marc, so glad Bob has settled so quickly with you and Mrs Marc as well as the lovely Rosie, I remember her being very shy, no Rosie not your lovely wife! Bob is looking really good considering all he's been through recently.
