Hi all. Bit of an overdue update on Stokey Boy. And a couple of pics which I'll post in two messages because I still cant work out how to do more than one with photobucket. He's coming on in leaps and bounds. Doesnt bat an eyelid at cats anymore. His recall is perfect now, even when he's distracted by squirrels in the woods, as soon as I call him I hear him coming back to me. If we reach a fork in the path or a turning he always waits and looks for me to tell him which way we're going. We actually have very relaxing walks, Clem and Stokes off the lead as soon as we're out of the carpark and I dont have to worry about him running off at all. And when we get to leads back on time, I can tell him and he comes back and stands to have it put on. He's very steady and friendly to other dogs and though he will jump up if their owners make a fuss of him, hes not a heavy dog and he gets down right away when told to. He's steady with children and will gladly fetch a ball for anyone at all . He's one of the best behaved at agility, still working on a long lead and hasnt quite got the hang of the weave yet but otherwise has picked it up so quickly. I often feel proud of his behaviour generally. He understands, sit, down, paw, and get out of there (the veg patch) and basically if he understands what you want him to do, he'll do it. Hes quite happy to be left on his own with Clem, and when I come back home, nothing has been touched. He still has a little bit of a thing about motorbikes, but no longer gets in a frenzy. He'll often bark when he hears one, not always now though, but he stops when you ask him to and usually rushes off and comes back with a toy as if hes distracting himself. I have no doubt he'll get over this given a bit more time. I can thoroughly recommend Stokes now. He's as bright as a button and a lovely smiley steady boy. We all love him to bits Claire x Attachments:

He sounds great. Sounds like he would put Zeph in the shade in agility. I hope he finds a wonderful home soon.

Thankyou . So do I, he really deserves a wonderful life. Brave boy had already had at least three moves before he came into us. He really is an exceptionally loving and loveable dog who really enjoys human company. I know his new owners will be smitten with him.

Stokes is looking terrific and that rosette was certainly well deserved, as was Clem's. ;D Stokes seems to have become a right cuddle-monster too.
