SPROUT GOES TO THE SEASIDE I went to the seaside today with my new friend Poppy, and I had a really good time. I found lots of new smells and had to study them closely. So did Poppy We had a really wicked game of chase me, chase me, but I'm so quick the photographer had trouble keeping up. Can you see me? And Poppy is a lot faster than she looks. I found some new friends And THEN we went down to the wet stuff woohoo! who says lurchers can;t swim I don't think I'm to sure about it! Then I saw some new friends But they went over the hill When we got back to the Lurcherlimo Sue got out the BLACK BAG, you know the one with the goodies in it. I had a really good time I hope they bring me back Sprout has spent a quiet afternoon counting zzzzzzz's. We also found out that he has absolutely NO prey drive whatsoever, he's more likely to play with a bunny than chase. What a good pair.

Thank you very much for those fantastic pictures, John, they surely enjoyed themselves as they were running and playing along the shore. They look as if they've known each other for ages! A peaceful night for all of you is almost guaranteed! Viviane. X

After an initial hiccup with the GA, Sprout is, well, Sprouting. He is clearly feeling better after having had his Testerone Motors removed, and is wanting to play. PANIC don't run Sprouty, pleeaaase! This is only in the garden fortunately, we've put all his toys away, but he still has a mad moment. We go back to see Monique or Saski tomorrow to have his stitches checked. (Can I get an emoticon for Fingers Crossed) Oh! he met horses and they may as well have been trees, didn't bother at all. More tomorrow

Isn't it amazing how quickly those boys bounce back after their operation! Try not to panic, John, remember you are fostering a lurcher! ;D Hope everything will be fine for Sprout when he gets his stitches checked tomorrow. Viviane. X

Sprout went to see Monique on Friday, and she said if it wasn't for the stitches, you wouldn't know he's had an op. No bruising, no swelling, and no licking. He has put his feet well under the table. Or should that be well under Sue's feet. He has clearly learned quickly that our house is a dog free for all, within reason of course. He and Poppy are clearly getting to know each other quite well I think that we are about to fail miserably in our first fostering, and I can't understand it, CAN YOU!!! Stitches out next Friday

We shall send pics as soon as we can when we get back. His stitches come out tomorrow and we go on Sunday. Thanks everyone for all the kind thoughts.
