He's gorgeous. Would love to have him but no space for two lurchers (espcially as next door have thoughtfully put their rabbit cage against our fence!). Must be soooo smelly and tempting.
Good luck Sprout (brill name too).

Hopefully, he is coming in for foster this week with John and Sue. It has been a heart-rendering decision for his owner who clearly loves him to the moon and back.

If anything goes pear shaped with this foster, you know where we are Jenny.

Sprout was delivered into the safe hands of John and Sue today by a very sad owner. He is smaller than we all thought he would be. Travelled well with John and Sue and when John phoned me today was having a run around the garden. Sprout will be booked in for neutering and vaccinations shortly.

What a boy, very bright, eyes to die for, and not a bad bone in his body. Slept next to Sue's bed all night, and woke ME at 6.30 am to go out. Very loud yawns! Wants desperately to come off the lead on his walks, to keep up with Poppy who is actually very good with him. No piccies yet. Sue has just sent me a text (I'm at work) he was very good on an extending lead, has had breakfast, a wizz in the garden, and settled down. Nick said he has some Staffie in him, I'm not sure where, unless it's the, ahem!! neutering area More updates, and piccies soon.

Well done John and Sue, he looks lovely, not unlike Lottie, but his maleness will sit better with Poppie!
Is he about Lottie size, surely not smaller?

Certainly not bigger Keith, and I must say he is a lot more outgoing, but then again he had a much better start than poor Lottie. It only goes to show that they need people like you and Mollie to help them over their past. Look forward to seeing you all soon. We are thinking of becoming vegetarian with 2 hounds called POPPY and SPROUT, it looks like trend.

I promise we will get photos as soon as we can in the meantime. We found out yesterday that he is a surfer, cheese off the worktop in the kitchen, only a little cube but lesson learned, yes he likes cheese. Took him for a walk with my daughter, granddaughter, youngest son, and son in law, AND daughters dog Shady. Initially fine, then Sprout decided to jump up at my son in law, to much for Shady who went for him. Very brief spat, then fine for the rest of the walk, that's that pecking order sorted then. He had his jabs yesterday, and weighed in at 23.7 kgs, good muscle tone, teeth ok, and all in all in good working order. However he goes in on Tuesday for the dreaded Neutering so please think of this good little soul on that day. Pictures as soon as I'm about to do them.
