As the weather is just so lovely at the moment all the dogs want to do is snooze don't blame them in the slightest and it gives me the opportunity to take lots of piccies of them We got up super early and threw all the dogs in the car and took them over our local rugby grounds where they had a fabulous blast in the cool morning dew ;D Totally exhausted hounds all flopped in the garden by 8am - perfick!! Saffi & her new best friend Reggie Even Dilly-Doo joined them outside....just for a little while Gorgeous girlie She's been much better today and generally stayed with the other dogs rather than constantly being with us. Mark popped out earlier for about an hour and she did wander around crying for about 10 minutes looking for him, but there was no barking or howling and eventually she gave up and settled The more we ignore her the quicker she is tending to settle so I'm convinced she'll soon be fine to be left. You do get a full body wag every time if she hasn't seen you for a while and you go to see her which is seriously cute ;D

What a sweetheart. She seems to be gaining confidence from your pack. Even Dylan was being sociable. Great for her to have the other dogs as well as you and Mark. Looks as though she's not going to be too difficult apart from falling in love with Mark!

I met this little lassy today and she is GORGEOUS She smaller than I expected and actually made Biffy look quite chunky. She's got the lovely staffie smile and really impressive recall. ;D If we didn't have Disco, I'd be filling in the application right now

Another big test for Saffi today... We went round our friends for a BBQ and being fabulous friends they allow us to bring all our dogs even though they don't have pets themselves So a strange house with strange people and Saffi behaved perfectly ;D The dogs had a good run in the morning so they all settled beautifully in the garden no matter what was happening around them. Saffi thoroughly enjoyed playing with Alex who is 6 and very dog savy, she was so gentle with her and sat with her head in Alex's lap whilst Alex stroked her and fed her bits of sausage I definitely think Saffi would benefit from being a family dog with lots of things going on and being involved with fun & games on a daily basis. We have descovered that Saffi is a little jealous She's become quite attached to Mark and if he gives me a Saffi barks if he fusses one of the other dogs she barks at him too. There is no mallice in her she just seems to be saying "oy, you should be fussing & kissing me not them "

Little lady has moved on from chez Stoker up to a new foster home in Wiltshire today Unfortunately due to Saffi's SA we thought it would be best for her to go to a family that could give her the time and attention to get over this that we just couldn't give her Very, very sad to see her go as she is such a gorgeous girl and has been an absolute pleasure from day one, however she is going to be so well looked after with her new foster mummy & daddy that I know it's all for the best. I took her up to Sheila's this morning along with Shylo & Reggie and given the fact that she was so scared to come into our house 2 weeks ago I was so proud of her as she bounded into Sheila's home demanding strokes and started investigating her surroundings without a care in the world Sheila is at home all day so Saffi is going to have lots of attention and time and love lavished on her I don't think she'll ever want to leave We took the dogs for a lovely walk to the park which is almost at the bottom of Sheila's garden which couldn't be more perfect. Gorgeous girl So new foster mummy & daddy is it time to play?? Come on foster mummy Look at this fab field I get to play in every day ;D Lovely shady areas to chill out in Come on this way Perfect recall to her new foster parents already I just know she's going to be so happy whilst she's with Sheila and I honestly don't think she really noticed me leaving either. Be a good girl precious

Sheila called me earlier to say that Saffi was being a perfect houseguest She snuggled up on the sofa with Sheila last night quite happily and settled fine through the night like a good girl xx

Hi Everyone - Karla's descriptions of Saffie are spot on! She has been fabulous with us, spent most of the first afternoon in the garden waiting to see if Karla, Reggie and Shylo were coming back for her (but popping in and out of the house just to check on what we were doing), then ate her food without any hesitation and curled up on the sofa with me. When it was bedtime she just settled herself on our bed and slept all night without a sound. Played beautifully in the garden and park next day so we took her to some local woods where she was able to explore, sniff and jump around in the bluebells to her hearts content, she kept us in sight and came running straight back whenever we called her. She is such a happy girl and I'm sure the time spent with Karla and her pack has given her enormous confidence. My son brought home a friend's big greyhound on Sunday and she made friends immediately, and didn't seem to want him to go home again. She also made 2 new friends in the park today, a long haired jack russell and then a small collie dog who both live locally. She had great fun running and playing with them and then home for breakfast and a good rest. My hubby Roy is really enjoying playing with her and says how clever she is, so I think he is halfway to being persuaded . . . . . . . I'm using my sister's 'puter at the mo (as I only have a web-browser and it's not much good for posting messages). Will try and update regularly, but probably won't be able to match Karla's fab pictures!
