Tilly is in foster with us in Middlesex area at the moment. She was found wandering, and when the dog warden tried to follow her she was making her way back to a Traveller site. The Traveller caravan owner picked her up and gave her back to the Dog Warden stating that she wasn't one of theirs! Kate has done an advanced search on doglost back several years, and nothing has come up. So we presume she is a failed little one. Could possibly have had pups in the past too. Barbara is fostering her at the moment but we may well be moving her down to Surrey shortly. She is a lovely little girlie. I will leave Barbara to fill you all in, but basically an all round gorgeous quiet cat loving people and dog loving little girlie. And did I saw gorgeous... Here is Tilly. Approximately 2 years old.. And with Barbara's dog Rufus

Stunning pictures. She's such a little dinky girl and so pretty, her face looks like a smaller version of Sprout. Some ones going to have a lovely little dog and cat friendly too!!

Yes, I am Barbara, the lucky person looking after this sweet little girl for the moment. She came into my life last Thursday as my dog goes to Green Meadows kennels for doggy day care once a week. The kennels had been kindly looking after Tilly (they called her Molly) for over a week, feeding her up and working on getting her trust and had fallen for her big time themselves. The owner knows I love lurchers and half hoped I might take her on myself but I just can't give her enough time so told them I would make sure she would get a new home via SLR. Tilly so wants to be loved but is always 'looking over her shoulder' and is very quiet and cautious. Stairs were a new worrying thing to her and she needs to go right back to basic training as she knows no verbal commands but is already mastering 'come' and 'sit' She justs wants to please. Absolutely no food aggression, very submissive and turns a blind eye to my two 4 month old kittens who hare around the house like manic squirrels. On Tilly's first night with us she happily curled up on my lap along with the two kits! House training is pretty good with just the old puddle at night, I don't have a crate, unfortunately, but with one for a short while I'm sure she will get the message and learn. She is a bit worried by heavy traffic, especially white transit vans but she travels beautifully in the car after being persuaded to get in. No separation anxiety, no whining and only barks if she and Rufus are playing. She needs a lot of work on the playing side as she has no idea what toys are for! Walks beautifully on a harness and politely greets other dogs but you can see her scanning jack russells to see if they are her old friends This little cutie will make a fabulous companion to someone who can encourage her to see life can be fun with no worries.

What a lovely little girl! Very similar to Lottie, except in the cat department! How tall is she?
